I'm doing a science fair project and would like to specify a specific species to make it simpler. I need to know how to attract birds of only that species. However, any information would be appreciated and helpful.

I keep my cats in, as one is black and there is no telling what someone will do for kicks. I just don't want to take the chance with my animals. They are like part of the family. Even if they are pests - always in my way, always on the wrong side of the door - always meowing..

I've been bathing her in flea shampoo every 2 days. I sprayed the house. She gets flea powder once a week. And my floors have been vacuumed with flea powder and still nothing.

i got my little silk terrier and daxion mix at a pet store and when we got her home she had diarrhea for about a week. we took her to the vet and they said she may just have an intestinal problem so they gave her some meds.On a saturday morning we woke up and she wouldnt walk ad she was soaked in sweat? she was throwing up as well. we took her as an emergency visit she ended up with like 3 diff.paracites. we were very close to losing her because she only weighed like 3 pounds at the time they put her on alot of meds. and she is now doing GREAT :) when she was 6 months old we took her to get her fixed she only weighed 4 1/2 pounds then vet didnt want to do it yet he wanted to give her a few more months to grow. Well she is now 9 months old she has an appt. to get fixed this coming monday nov.6th and im getting scared..im getting nervous that maybe she is still tooo little..althoug she looks a little bigger..but im scared because she was so sick earlier..do you think she will make it ok?

My horse has a bad habit of swinging her head around when we are petting her. She is a great horse & is very gentile. One time she swong her head & hit me in the mouth & allmost knoked me out. How do I brake her of this habit?

Have just watched It's me or The Dog and loved the dog carriers that they used in the back of the car. My Mum has a 'nervous passenger' and these would be perfect when taking him to the vet (which they have to do on a regular basis). Does anyone have any idea where I can get them or something similar?

I have 4 cavalier bitches, 2 are aged 7, 1 is 4 and the youngest is almost 2. The 3 oldest ones use the dog flap all the time, but the youngest will come indoors through it but has no idea she can go out of it even if the others run through it to chase a cat she just watches them. If I have to leave them for a few hours she has usually had an accident on the floor. If I show her a treat and push it through the flap she will go and get it but has never used it otherwise. I feel that I cannot leave them for more than a couple of hours because of her wetting, but would be easier if she would just use the flap so I wouldnt have to worry.

My savanna monitor is not eating. I got him a week and a half ago. We have tried pinkies, super worms, egg, hot dog, turkey dog food, crickets. He as only eaten a couple bites of egg and a piece of hotdog. He is very skinny and we have been soaking him in water, putting him in his basking area and now feeding him Herpcare -electrolyte and appetite stimulant. He goes in the water and stays there most of the time or lays near it. The Herpcare (although only given once so far) does not seem to be working. His tank is 75 gal, he is 17 inches long. One side of his tank is at about 85 and the other is about 110. He has a hiding place in the middle of his hank and a heat light and rock on the hot side of his tank and water on the warm side. Is there any other options before taking him to the vet. Has anyone had this problem with theirs and if so what got them to eat. I have read online everything and nothings working.

My 3 month old pitbull puppy broke her leg a little over 3 weeks ago. She has had her cast replaced 2 times since, and the vet said that she is healing very well. She started getting sores on her leg and chewing at her cast a couple days ago. I am not happy with the service that we are getting from our vet. Anyways, the cast has been removed but she is limping. Is this normal since she has not been able to use her leg for the past couple of weeks? I have never broken a bone, so I am not sure what to expect. Thank you for your input.
