What specifically would you like to know?? I keep a few different types of boas I have two red tails that are extremely docile and beautiful at of 6 feet in length they can get to be a handful they need proper heating and lighting and a massive enclosure the bigger the better. They require lots of food when they get large rats can be very expensive. Personally I breed my own rabbits but if you would to get a starter snake I would definitely suggest a corn snake they are extremely docile and don't need much care and they only get about 3 feet in length.

I bought my eight year old daughter a red tailed boa for her last birthday(that's what she asked for) She handles it alot. He is a gentle snake and is very tolerant of humans. He bit her once. she was annoying him on purpose. she said it does'nt hurt. She has learned how to treat her pet and was not bitten again. The snake occasionally gets agitated so when he is,we leave him alone. He likes little crevices. if there is any way to escape from a cage he will find it. Boa's are smart.if you have other pets, like hampsters, small kittens or any other small mammals keep them separated at all times and wash your hands before you handle the snake, they can get sick just like we do.
