If your cat was young and this was her first litter there are many reasons why they could have died. You don't give us much information from which to draw a conclusion so we can only speculate.
I do know that some young new mothers can clean their kittens and chew the umbilical cord too close to the kittens' stomachs causing them to bleed to death.
Why don't you get your cat fixed and then you won't have to worry about this ever happening again!
Sounds like a good idea I think.

Among the dozens of possible complications are infections in the womb, death of the fetuses, spontaneous abortion, development of fetuses outside the womb, suffocation of a kitten right after birth, kittens that get stuck in the birth canal ... it's a long list.
Bring your cat to the vet to insure she is of good health.

Well, I have good news and bad news. The good news is that you don't have to find homes for five kittens. The bad news is that there's probably something wrong with your cat and you probably should take her to the vet. And get her spayed while you're there.

Call a vet. You may want to take your cat in. That is really suspicious. It is hard to say sense you were not present while they were born. They could have been all born still born but that would be rare. Call the vet.

i dont know what happened to the kittens but i do know you should get your cat checked out just incase she has anything left inside her, you dont want her to end up with a nasty infection!
sometimes these things just happen.

Maybe have her tested for FeLV. There are also other viruses that a cat can have during pregnancy that can cause demise of the litter.
SPAY!!

I have no idea. That is really weird. Something is wrong with your cat then. Bring it to a veterinarian.
