I have a hard time getting my ferret ever since I got her (about 1.5 years now) to play with the typical ferret toys you can buy up at the store. She's uninterested in tunnels, toys with bells in them, and won't eat treats. The only thing she really likes to do is wrestle with my cat.

Asking experienced ferret owners, what kind of toys do YOUR fuzzies like to play with?

They had been living together since they were born, and all the sudden, one of them has started attacking the other. (I've since separated them). Is there any way I can get them to be in the same cage together again?

I have a four month old female Yorkshire Terrier and she is terrified of her lead. When I put it on she screams like a baby and runs away and hides shaking from head to toe she is distraught and I really don't know what to do. Ive took her to the vet to get her checked and she is perfectly healthy and i bought her a harness but shes far too small for it and thats the smallest size. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, college is at least five years in the future for me, but I have already started thinking about those long, boring nights in a rental house and who would be there to guard me and to entertain me. My mom and I have discussed before the idea of getting a German Shepard for our family, but my dad can't stand them.

I was wondering if a German would be a good guard dog, loyal, and still be a family type pet. Would one be a good choice for college life in a rental house?

Okay I was looking at this site, http://www.guineapigcages.com/photos/showphoto.php/photo/5210/cat/512/limit/recent for home made guinea pig cages. Many people say they use coroplast as the bottom of the cage, and I know you can get coroplast in sheets but I don't know how you shape it like a cage? How do you get the edges to form a border, instead of just laying there like a flat peice of paper.

Also, I can't find the grids that most of the people are using for the top portions of the cages. I looked on the wal-mart website and found the 4 cube one, but that is fourteen dollars and I don't think that is cost effective when building this cage.

I have an amazing jack russell, he is almost 10 years old and we rescued him when he was 2. We buy his dry food from whole foods (it has a lot of vegetables and organic grains) which he absolutely loves. Now, wet food is another story. I have tried a few brands but his stomach is very sensitive and the past couple nights he has been throwing it all right back up!

He just had a check up so I know there is nothing wrong with him, I just want to know what other owners feed their Jacks and find out if there is maybe a gentle senior brand of wet food we can give him. thanks!

So we took her in becuase we thought she was pregnant. But then she slimmed down and never had milk...

Now, 1 month later, she is very fat and her whole stomach is hard. Now she looks very pregnant...

How can I tell if she is pregnant now? And why was she fat before, if she wasn't pregnant then?
