So I have two kitties, Tucker 3lbs, and Daphne 7lbs. They generally split a can of food in the morning, and another one in the evening. [by split i mean that i put it on a plate and they each eat what they want-not half a can each] When it is getting close to a meal time they start crying and purring and just waiting for the food. All of the sudden this week they have started eating A LOT more, they now eat FIVE cans a day! Each time I give them more they act like I haven't fed them in days, and they eat it so fast.

Could this be a serious problem, or are they just being hungry lately?

Befor i moved in to the apt i am in know there were 2 other cat's in his life. And the other problems he has is that he is losing a lot of hair and I think it is from sheading.

My husband is in Iraq and we discussed, before he went over there that we wanted to get our son a puppy for Christmas. Do you have an suggestions? Also I have an 8 month old as well please keep that in mind when you respond. Thank you for your answers.

I am unable to sleep properly, and find the afternoons and evenings empty, when she was alive, I would talk to her constantly like she was a little human being, take her out for walks and play with her.

At the moment having another dog is not an option as we are selling our house, so has anyone out there had a similar experience that could give me advice on what to do now?

Don't flip out folks. I am a responsible pet owner and I am willing to spend the dough to do things right. I am in the research stages right now (I research dogs at least 2 hours a day just for fun) and will not be breeding until I am sure that I can further the breed. I have 3 dogs currently. All fixed and in great health. In fact I have full endorsement by my vet when I choose to begin. I would just like constructive advice from real people. Breeders can be a little closed mouthed. My mom was a breeder, but not a good one.

BTW- I vollunteer for a no kill shelter and donate money each month to the ASPCA. So please spare me the lectures. I have thought about this for years and want to at least explore my options.

How do stop her from ruining her life? I'm afraid she may get pregnant. She isn't old enough to raise those children properly. Sometimes they stay out all night on weekend. She says nothing is going on, but I don't believe her. I'm really worried.

Can dogs be gay? Not to offend anyone. I have a male and my neighbor has a male both Chihuahua's and every time my dog plays with our neighbors he gets violated. Is this normal because I thought dogs could tell the difference between male and female.

What are the specific symptoms of a puppy that has a cold? I have a 5-month old puppy. She is coughing a lot tonight. She is spitting up a little foam, too. My husband says she has been sneezing a bit of late, though I didn't notice it. Her nose is dry. We are taking her to the vet tomorrow at 4pm - first time they can see her. My parrot says some really cool stuff like, "I can talk can you fly." But every now and then he breaks out something weird like "Bite your friends," "hurt the dog," or "Bo is from dirty water." I swear we never hurt any dogs, we don't even have a dog. I think he just picks words from stuff he hears around the house and makes his own sentences. I'm just wonder what other people's grey's have to say.

When I have my dog at the park off leash I can't get him to come to me. He is a 7 month old rat terrier so he is full of energy. But when it is time to go, it is a complicated process to get him to come to me.

i just found out my dog died. he was about 5 yrs in human yrs and was pretty healthy. next door to where he was stayin was a crack house and a man asked the woman that was watching him he had ate. later on that day he started breathing hard and wouldnt eat or drink. today he died. do u think it was because they threw some crack and he ate it?
