My baby gerbil died about 3 weeks ago. I really loved him, and I just can't bear to burry him. But now he's all rotten and my house stinks. What should I do?

down. People around her called and rushed her to the hospital. Her dog, still remained in the enclosed "little dog section". A friendly young lady, who the elderly lady had befriended, took the dog for safe keeping. Another "dog" couple went to the hospital to be with the elderly woman. I supposed they know her and know how to contact one of the daughter's. How's that for caring about other people's dog, who goes to the same section often enough to be noticed. It's nice to know that SOMETIMES people are very thoughtful.

Hi
Needing a good home for an older domestic Grey and White goose.. may be possible to have 2nd white goose ..Likely female . no idea on age.
Both in good health. Been living in City ( population 5000) pond and riverway and cared for by our family.. One was dumped there several years ago. The other recently.
We are wanting to move out of the area but need to find a home for them before we can do that.
A good home would be... someplace where he can be the boss as he is used to it.. has other birds preferrably ducks not too many other geese.. or none.
He has seen 4 mates and a gosling, killed by people over the years and tends to socialize with ducks better than other geese now. He even adopts a mom duck each spring and her babies as his own...
He needs a loving home with a pond, lake or river, & Love

He is a male.. and is at least 7 years old and Fertile.
The other all white goose we feel is female but are not sure.. was a recent drop off, and seems very used to people

I live in south-central Kentucky. I live somewhat in the country, with fields, and woods, no water except for ponds. I found a young snake (about 1-1.5 ft.). It was black with a grey-silver diamond pattern on its back. The belly was a somewhat grey color. It coiled up when I spotted it, and acted like it did want to strike. I have searched numerous pictures, and descriptions, and have not been able to find one that looks like it. I have looked at those native to this area, and searched for those that are not, trying to figure out what it is. If anyone has any info., please let me know.

We just got my cat back from the vet. He had a terrible hematoma(not spelled right) that was infected and now he's wearing a cone so he won't scratch the stitches out. Except he keeps freaking out. He rolls on the ground and shakes his head and kicks and tries to scratch. It's been four hours or so now and we can calm him down for maybe ten minutes before he starts freaking out again. Does anyone have any suggestions on keeping him calm?

I still have to work so I can's just sit and talk to him (when he sits) I certainly can't keep chasing him all over the house.
I thought about giving him some kitty tranquilizers, but he's having to take an antibiotic, too, so I wasn't sure.
Also, does anyone have any helpful experience on how he can eat and drink with the cone on? I can hand feed him cat food sometimes, but not all the time and I can't do anything like that with the water.

Please, anyone with any experience in this, I would love your help.

Today outside I noticed that my dog looks like she has a slimy grey spot in the bottom corner of her eye, its pretty large. People at work said it was a cataract. Now I can't see it indoors though, can you only see some cataracts in the daylight? What about with a flashlight?

about six months ago, my cat started reacting like he was being bitten or had some kind of skin parasite. He goes wild trying to scratch or bite the area on his back where he is sensative. He will also now bite anyone that touches his back. I have shaved his fur twice, no marks, no parasites, nothing to cause the sensativity. Does anyone have any idea what this problem might be and how do I stop it.

My next door neighbour moved in 2 years ago, realised I had a terrier then bought herself a rabbit rather than run this in a pen she chooses to let the rabbit run loose in the garden, while my beddlington licks her lips at the other side of the fence. Needless to say we are not on speaking terms - how do the pets sort it out?
