Just curious how many other cat guardians out there have discovered that cats love to nod off to sleep with classical music in the mackground playing softly? Never fails to lull my two hyper kitties to kitty dreamland.

My husband an i have tried to make her litter box as comfortable as possible for her( neither 1 of us has cared 4 a kitten b4) by using different types of litter, using a lower "box" actually it's a wicker table tray so it's low enough 4 her to step in an out of an not get hurt. But we are sooo confused an are in need of help quick. thanks in advance.

I have seriously been against gay or even bi-sexual men my whole life. (I'm 35) It has sickened me to even be friends with them. But this one guy at work is sexy as hell and I found out months ago he goes either way. For some reason he really turns me on!!?? Why, I wonder? (By the way, I'm a female.)

Our dog doesn't smell to us, but is that only because we're used to her odor?

Have you ever noticed another person's dog that smells really bad? Does that person know their dog smells?

Do we become immune to the odors of our dogs?

we were able to get pregnant and have many, many children like cats can have kittens? Even while a cat is pregnant, if whatever type of cat has sex with it, she will have it's baby too. A cat can deliver many different breeds of kittens at one time! Amazing!

he has been given panacur by the vet, he is eating and drinking it doesn't seem to be bothering him. Is there anything I can feed him to help? The vet gave him a 20% chance of living but apart from his head slightly tilted he doesn't look or act ill!! please can some one give me some advice?

I made many mistakes with my 5 gallon tank and would like to not repeat them with my new 36 gallon tank. I've already got the filter, heater, gravel, air pumps/air stones and water in. All chemical levels are fine and heater is working. The heater is set to 79 degrees, the gravel was rinsed before being put in, and I treated my tap water with Stress Coat (10 ml. per 10 gallons or 4 caps worth). I planted four small plants. How long should the tank operate before adding fish? I've heard 24 hrs., 48 hrs., and 3 to 5 days from different aquatic stores. Please give me an explaination with your answer as to how long I should wait so I understand - since I've heard so many different ideas, I'm not sure what to believe. I'm not in a hurry to rush out and buy fish - I'm willing to wait to do this right. Also, I'd like to know what some good starter fish are that won't be aggressive. I'm used to using guppies but would like somethign different. I will not consider goldfish as they're dirty.

Hi, I have a 9 year old Siamese who has feline hyperthyroidism. He has always been a happy, healthy, active cat, and I just recently found out about the hyperthyroidism since the vet found a heart murmor. Well, I'm tryng to give my cat the medication (Tapazole)by putting it in his mouth and rubbing his throat until he swallows. He ends up foaming at the mouth, clawing me, then spitting it out later. He is a much happier cat when he isn't forced to endure this. Surgery is too expensive and I don't want to put poor Mikie through that stress either. Any suggestions for getting him to take his medications? I've even tried hiding it in his food. He had no symptoms of the hyperthyroid before except for a huge appetite and the heart murmor, so I'm wondering if it is even worth it to put him through all this-maybe I should just let him enjoy his life.

I have a 29 gallon tank in my office. It is not over populated and regular water changes or done. It has been up and running for a about year with no issues and very little loss of fish. What would cause the water to go from crystal clear to green and clouded over night? There is also a definite odor coming from the tank.

I want to know where/when odd-eyed rats have been seen, what colors thier eyes were (usually black, ruby, red or pink), coat colors, anything you can remember. I'm trying to build up information to locate, track and possibly acquire these anomalies. Someone told me they saw a brown rat with one green eye and one blue, which as far as I know is on 4 different levels of impossible, genetically speaking, but I thought I'd like to see who else is out there. My cat is a year old. She's very curious. Likes to go where I don't want her to. Her favorite thing to do is jump up on my dresser at night and knock things off and then jump on the mirror. I'm afraid she's gonna knock the mirror over and break it, not to mention all my stuff on the dresser. I know she's doing this for attention. She thinks it's a game. As soon as I'm going to bed at night is when she does this. When she jumps up there I yell at her and she just looks at me. I have to actually get out of the bed and get 2 inches away from her before she jumps down and runs. When I get back into bed, she jumps back up there! I've tried spraying her with a squirt bottle, clapping my hands loud to scare her, I've even cleaned the mirror with vinigar because I heard cat's don't like the smell, but nothing works. If I close my door she uses her claws on it and that's not good cuz I live in an apartment. It's keeping me awake at night. What can I do to keep her from jumping up there?
