Is ear cropping becoming illegal over here in the states? Someone told me it is illegal in CA already and was just wondering about that. I know most of the time ear cropping is purely cosmetic but in some cases there can be injuries that make it more necessary.

I have a young male cat that seems to be very tense. If I go to pet him or noises it will make him jump and/or run away. One time I farted and he jumped, no noke. How can I make him relax?

I was wondering what can be done to stop a puppy from crying while being locked up in a kennel? I need to put him in there while I goto work and while I sleep. It is a puppy golden retriever. I live in the upper of a duplex and don't want to disturb the neighbors too much with it.

I am planning to neutor my dog. He is 7 months old and the vet recommends it. But the thing is , he is really good with the potty . hardly never misses the weewee pad. Im scared if i neutor him it might change his personality or the way i conditioned him. Any thoughts?

I just adopted a 6 year old CHI a couple days ago and it appears to have a cold, should I talke him to the vet or wait it out. His nose seems to be running and he is not seelping all that well.

I have two koi and 7 goldfish (comets etc) in a 1500 litre pool. The koi are fine but the goldfish are all starting to suffer from ulcers. They go from small to awful over a period of a few weeks and I've lost 5 so far. Am using Acriflavin in the pond, and potassium permanganate as a short bath if I can catch them when it gets bad.
I think the ulcers start from small scratches which they get when chasing each other around.
Any Help???

He is just roosting in the rafters. Loud noises makes him fly around in circles but not out the doors. We have 2 "garage style" doors. Any suggestions?

Last year I got an bottom feeder and he's been awesome. He cleans all the leftover food and I would recomend them to anyone. But, now he doesn't do very much but once in a while he will shoot to the top of the tank and the he swims to the middle, and then to the bottom again. He's never done this before. Is he just getting old or is it something else?

My b/f's Husky killed and ate a squirrel....... She killed a Cockatoo a few years back, and 3 years ago she tried to kill a papilion (ended up needing surgery and alot of stiches)......My b/f and I recently (6mo's ago) moved in together...... She does not seem agressive actually ultra submissive........ Im worried about her killing my cat or harming my 4 year old daughter, and I have a baby on the way........... think theres a need to worry?

my bacterial bllom is not going away and the ammonia levels are never below 8ppm. I cant belive the fish are still living. i can even see into the tank. It is almost completley white. Should i wait it out or what? It allstarted when i did a 20 % water change in my 10 gal tank 5 days ago. ever since then it has been nothing but trouble. i have 5 fish by the way

My friends rottweiler is having pups. What is he to do reguarding the docking of their tails. Is this legal or just for cosmetic reasons. He rang the vets and they said they didnt do it. Somebody said to do it himself using various methods, all of which seem barbaric. Any good websites. thanks.

I had just clipped her nails and she was very angry about it. She previously buried my tootbrush in her box while I was gone for several day. LOL - not really a question, just file it under "CTTCD" (cute things that cats do).
