I had just clipped her nails and she was very angry about it. She previously buried my tootbrush in her box while I was gone for several day. LOL - not really a question, just file it under "CTTCD" (cute things that cats do).

Oh, Anne I think I read about the toothbrush incident from you before which I think is one of the most hysterical things I have heard of a cat doing. Now the pants! She is surely some character and determined to get you in line!

First...thank you for the laugh. I'll have to share this one with other cat lovers I know.
Sounds like you have a cat that is TOO "human" and an absolute brat (in a nice way). Now I have to wonder...just how "best" were those pants and are they pant pants...or panties...I've heard of cats grabbing undies out of the dirty clothes and trying to bury those but to bury pants....I'm still laughing hard. You have a wonderfully weird cat...wonderful.
Between the toothbrush, pants, and whatever else the kitty might bury after her "duty" is done...sounds like she's trying to say: "Do something I don't like...poop on you lady. I get revenge."
By the way, one of my kitties gets her revenge by bringing me a "gift" of a snail or wood roach (cockroach found outside around decaying tree bark/woodpiles..rather large and it flys at you) and dropping it on my bed while I'm in it. The cat knows I'll come out of bed screaming and she just sits and watches me run out of the room. Her brother took the clippers and buried them in the litter pan...wouldn't have believed it if my son hadn't told me he watched the whole thing.

That is a very funny thing for a cat to do. Recently I had to bathe my cats, which they are deathly afraid of, and afterwards they were quite upset. My female cat (spayed) came into the room I was in and turned her backside to our fountain and sprayed a long stream of urine on it. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. She has never sprayed, that I know of, before or since. Recently one of my mothers cats peed in my brothers shoes while he was visiting. Cats are so amusing!
