How to save fishes?

I have a new hobby for fishes. I bought an aquarium and 4 pairs of fishes. however i have no idea about the fishes at all. Please help me by letting me know more about how to take care of them??

Unless you tell us the type of fish its kind of hard to tell you about them. But most fish you take care of the same way, have a healthy tank (zero ammonia and nitrite and 10-20 nitrate), do regular water changes and feed it. If you overstocked your tank though then you will have a hard time keeping the water clean. If you know the names of the fish look up what the minimum tank size each of them needs and to learn what temp they need and any other info you can find,

You need to buy something like cycleright to help eliminate the ammonia in a newly established aquarium. Also, make sure you change their water. Did you buy some sort of an algae eating fish? Scavengers are always good. Get them into a sort of "schedule" of when you feed them and turn their lights on/off.

Find info about it. E.g. Predator-Prey relationship, diet, pH value and salt amount it needs, diseases it may contract,etc
