I've come across some people that smell worse than my dogs. So I wouldn't worry about it, if you can't smell your dog, she can't smell that bad........
if your company doesn't like the dog smell , you could always tell them that your dog doesn't like their people smell.........

Not really, we get used to it I guess, but every now and again we get a whiff and know that they smell. The carpet has a certain odor. There is a big difference between just doggy smell and real doggy odor. I was a dog groomer and trust me, some dogs reek. To the point of making you want to retch. Most of these were from owners that tried to portray that they loved their dogs, but could not be bothered to bring them for a clipping till the last minute, when the fur stuck, when the bum was so clogged with **** that they could not even stand the smell when the dog was kept outside.
For me, well, I love my dogs, they come inside when I want, we have carpet, dog beds, dog bowls, water dripped all over the floor from two who just love to slobber, I really don't care what anyone may think. I love my dogs. We show them, they are washed, wormed regularly, they have no fleas, we go away with them to travel to shows and they stay in our trailer/van. We also go away with them on holidays, they love swimming and my son has great fun with them in rivers and swimming pools, he plays ball, with someone that will always fetch for him.
So you ask does your dog smell?? Well only as much as others want to point out that it does.

I hate walking into someone's home and smelling DOG! I do have a 3 yr. old Boston Terrier and I give him a bath every 2 weeks. No matter what! Dogs do smell! I'm always asking everyone if they smell "dog smell" when they come in my house.

I have also wondered this and what I have done is invite over a friend who I trust. After she has come into my house and gets settled, I ask her if she smells anything bad. Pet odor, urine (I have a puppy who just finished potty-training), etc. She was very honest, and it helped me and because of it I am getting my carpets cleaned Monday morning.
Good luck!

Some people are oblivious to the smell of their dog. These people are usually dirty. If you are a clean person and your dog stinks, you will know it. Others just dont care.
