I am allergic to dogs and cats. My sister used to live with me with 2 cats. Since I am allergic, the vet gave us a liquid form of medicine that we gave to cats daily and after a couple weeks I wasn't having any allergic reactions to the cats.
My boyfriend has a dog, and we are looking into getting a place together and I was wondering if anyone knew of a medicine to give to dogs like I was talking about with the cats.
I have taken Allegra and all those other allergy meds, but that doesn't seem to work.
Anyone know of anything or have had a similar issue?

I have an egg on my counter and its peeping and wobbling. It made a tiny crack in the shell and it hasn't done much more than that though it has been a few hours (5hrs). How long must I endure this anxious waiting, Is it ok to help it a little? Please hurry.

It's a bantam wyandotte chicken.

I have a sick little Lhasa Apso named George, and the vets' answer to everything here is to give him more and more medicine. He's always been healthy, vibrant and loaded with energy. Last week, I took him to a vet, just for an annual check-up, and the vet gave him a shot to fight tapeworms. She also drew some blood to run some standard tests.
The vet called me the following afternoon, saying George is suffering from kidney failure. Since he was still his normal, happy self, I decided to get a second opinion. The next doc barely did anything (other than more shots & an overnight IV). He's been in agony, practically ever since! He was the happiest doggie in the world & now I worry if he's going to make it through.

Has ANYONE experienced anything like this? I know kidney problems run in his breed, but George never ever had a problem until the vets started pocking at him!

Do our pets really go to Heaven when they die? That would mean they are judged in order for that decision to be made. What if you have a "pet rock", where does it go?

I have a lab/hound mix and I was wondering how many times a day he should pooh at 6 months of age. It seems that he only goes two or three times a day now, when it was like 5. He is still eating very healthy and still very playful, just had his check up and he is okay. Just wondering if this is normal or if I am not walking him long enough when I take him out to pee. Also he gets hiccups at least twice a day..is this just some growing hiccups? lol I have never had a dog before and I forgot to ask the vet this when I went. Thanks for all your help!

My cat is sick, she currently drinks on her own but I need to force baby food into her mouth. Im taking her to the vet tommorow.

Does anyone have anything special they do for a sick cat? Im feeding her baby food, laid her out in her little hut with her favorite toys around her.

I watered down some evaporated milk but she will only drink water.

Any ideas?

Well my cat has just had 4 kittens and we also have 2 other female cats in the household and one of those females are the mother of the cat who has just had kittens, well the kittens are about 4 weeks old. But every time the kittens get near there nan as you could call her, she hisses and becomes very nasty, she dosn't hurt them but just hisses and spits at them, why dose she do this?
The other 2 females are fixed and vaccinated the other female cat has no problem with the kittens so why dose the other female, the kittens nan, do this?
And also the mother of the kittens has no problem with her mum, her mother is the only one with this behaviour why is she acting like this?

My beautiful kitty, Echo, has seven toes on each of his front paws. These three extra toes have their own pad too. These cats are AKA Hemmingway because the famous writer used to breed them on his little island. Do any of you have one?

okay now that i found out cats can have a litter of kittens to different fathers i'dlike to ask a specific question this black and white cat had three kittens that looked all exactly the same except the male is a bit larger (which is normal assuming he is a male) and their colours are different the male came out black and white like the mother another female cat came out tortoise shell and another came out white with honey patches...what are the chances that these kittens all have different fathers??? the lady who owns them assumes they have different fathers because they are different colours but i think this is completely normal in cats...??? anyone???
