Our 2 year old German shepard is too friendly to us, and at over 50lbs, she likes to jump on us and anyone she likes. Anyone have a proven method to stop this behavior? Please, no dumb answers like tying her to a post...sincere replies only. Thanks

my cat has this b/f and we thought he lived at this one old mans house but we went to talk to him and he has he only has 3 female cats that were all nutered when they were little. so we have no idea who he belongs to... if anyone. and my mom found out he has worms. what should we do? give him meds? and if u think yes then what kind where do i get it? all that stuff.
also will me cat get worms from him? i know she licks him and stuff but shes nutered and i dunno if he is.
what should i do??????

My cat has just recently had his shots but still needs to be neutered and he is about 6 mo. old. Early this morning he escaped and hasn't returned. It has been about 16 hours. I am afraid he went looking for females as there are lots of cats around here. Also it rained since he has been out and am worried that this may have made him lost. I was wondering if I should expect him to come back or if there is any way to attract him back. My friend tried putting fish outside but there is no sign of him anywhere.

i have a douchshound - terrier mix. He is currently very young (only a couple months old) and we are trying to crate train him. We had bought him a lambskin bed (fluffy) about 6 weeks ago. For 6 weeks he seemed to have no problem with the bed. But recently he has been chewing and biting at it whenver he can. Anybody know why?

We had to put my dog to sleep, she was my life. My parents say "NO MORE ANIMALS!!!!" i can't live without a dog, I'll go crazy!! I talk to my mom about it and she's like..."hmphhhh" an brushes it off her shoulder. ='(

I am about to set up a 10 gallon aqaruim, right now I have my poor goldfish in two one gallon tanks each with air pumps and undergravel filters... aside from the small size of the tanks for the goldfish is that a typical small tank set up? Will it be effective and healthy (with different fish of course... maybe betas?)?

I didn't realize goldfish need so much space untill shortly after I got them... they each need ten gallons but I'm think moving them to the 10 gallon tank I was able to get will be a little better for them for now at least.

Can I take out the two small undergravel filters and use them with the airpumps? Or use one of them in one area of the larger tank?

Also, can undergravel filters be harmful to fish??

And I need to get a filtration system as well... is that something that is neccesary to have when you use an undergravel filter in a larger tank? (I plan to get one whether or not I use the undergravel, I'm just curious).

closed, because I had my dog there. SHE FELL ASLEEP< and I had to go away from the home for a while. When I returned, I couldn't find my elderly dog. I looked all over. I was beside myself. Then I found the kitchen screen door open. How could a Peke open a door? Well, anyway it was open. I went outside, looked up and down the street. The next door neighbor, saw me, knew I worked sometimes next door to him, and brought me into his kitchen! I saw the FUNNYIST thing you EVER SAW! There was MY dog, laying on the little kitchen rug, and looking so happy, as if she belonged there! It looked So Funny! This is another good story that some people do care.

Is it bad for the cat to get cuddled too much? What will happen to a cat if he gets too much attention? Will he get fat or something? Nikki and Toby are just one and a half, kittens, but they always meow outside my door and if I don't let them in and pet them they'll keep meowing. I don't treat them like humans, they are still animals after all. Can a cat get too much cuddlings and affection?

Ok My kitten is 7 wks old and iwas told you cant have kitten under 12 wks old wear coller or even use flea shampoo. WHen i got him 2 wks ago he was fine no hair loss. No all of sudden he losing hair around his neck and look like it started to go just alittle past his neck to his spine. Yes he is fills with fleas and i evne try to use my shampoo to give him bath since i cnat use flea soap. I cant take him to vet till next month. What can i do for him in mean time? He is very playful and eat and act just like an normal cat just he bitting himself all the time and losing hair and also i notice edge of his tail is bald? I dont know why but it was liek that when i got him no hair on edge of his tail? what up with that?

First of all, he is 7 months old (english bulldog). He is potty trained and i take him out very often. We live on the third floor and he also has a puppy pad by the door that he uses just in case. He just recently started doing this. I have always heard that a dog will not go were he sleeps (he sleeps with us). Just a minute ago he peed literally ALL over the bed before we caught him. We were in the room with him! when this happens we only get him off the bed and sternly say no to him. no physical violence and no punishment after the fact. I dont think he has a bladder infection and it is usally too much pee to be marking. anybody have any ideas??

I think this is ridiculous and i totally don't believe it but there is this dog that mated with two different male dogs and the owner believes that the dog will have babies from both dogs now a dog can't get pregnant to two or three dogs at the time aren't they like humans. Also because a cat gave birth to three kittens of three different colours the owner believes that the kittens have three different fathers...but thats how all cats come out. Well i have never heard that a dog can get pregnant to three different dogs and have the baby of more than one father at the same time but the owner insits that they can and she is older so i'm (i admit ) a teeny bit confused even though i still don't believe it

I have a friend that has a gelding that has a problem loading and would explode and rear and go crazy. Even had reared on her and got his front leg stuck between the door and the trailer. She brought him over for and I finally got him over the rearing part and being calm at the trailer. He even loaded ver big rear and go crazy problem when yo try to load him in a trailer. She brought him to me to help with the rearing thing. I spent some time with him and have got him not rearing and get in the trailer calmly. He now will load in my straight load 2 horse trailer. But will not load in her two horse slant trailer. They have tried all kinds of things? Butt ropes and such. She is looking for suggestions. Any ideas?
