Don't let it eat anything else, give it some milk, and then leave water out for it to drink. Leave it in an area where it can't ruin the carpet by vomiting and maybe give it like 1/4 of an aspirin for stomach cramps. Let it sleep in some dry towels and pay close attention to it for the next 10 hours or so; set your alarm so you can wake up every couple of hours and check on it.

If the dog becomes lethargic and you can't wake it up, consider taking it to an emergency vet. They will set up a payment plan with you.

I hope this helps!

Withhold food for 24 hours and then slowly give begin a diet of bland light colored food such as boiled chicken and rice. My puppy was sick and that's what the vet told me.

I have successfully used home remedies for my dogs; just like they were human children. Try small bits of bread, if tolerated. 1/2 teaspoon Pepto Bismol wouldn't hurt. Plenty of water.
Take care!

If it JUST ate it... in the last 30 minutes or so you can give it a capful of hydrogen peroxide to make it throw up.. otherwise watch for loose stools or other vomiting. get it to the vet as SOON as you can please.
