Dogs drool is the result of several different things. It can be because the dog is so anxious, nervousness, or excitement. Some breeds of dogs tend to drool. We have a big dog that never drools at home. But when we take him to a Dog Park ( a fenced in area that dogs run around free to play with other dogs) he gets so excited that he will have drippy, foamy drool. I think it is yucky, but at least it's outside. :)

Drooling is breed specific. Lots of breeds don't drool at all.

Probably because of the type of dog you have...newfoundlands, st. bernards, bulldogs, and other dogs with loose jowls drool alot.
