a few years ago i really wanted a snake and i finally got! do guys think that's weird?

No it isn't weird. I always wanted a snake when I was growing up, but my mom is scared of them. Well, I've grown up and moved out and I now own a snake. He is a 4 foot long Ball Python named "Jake the Snake" (he's named after the famous wrestler lol). Anyways, if it helps any, I'm also married and I still have my snake.

If u were in my country, you would be considered an extremely weird girl.
I live in Mexico, and belive me, most guys don't take it as a weird thing in a bad sense, but they simply don't belive it. There are not many girls like me over here... well, not that I know of.
I've had reptiles for over 15 years and snakes (both venomous and non) for the last six.
Some of my friends joke around saying I'm the female mexican version of The Crocodile Hunter (+) or call me Dr. Doolittle...
Most people over here are quite square about stuff like this. They belive only men get so involved in that kind of stuff.

I am a girl and I have a snake so no it's not weird, all my friends wanna come over and see it.

I don't think it's weird, I got one for my daughters several years ago and they loved it. I would think that a lot of guys would think it was cool, but I don't know for sure.

I'm not a guy, but one of my friends wore her snake to high school everyday. Under her clothes. No one but our group ever knew she had it. She had a boyfriend, if that helps.

No its really cool, i once had a pic taken with a huge snake around my shoulders it was awesome and kind of scary...we have lizards. - any pets are awesome!!
