he's teething - our staffy was murder for it, still is at times. get him some special chew toys from local pet store, or try this homemade teeter method -
buy a cheap pack of teatowels,
rinse throughly and dry,
soak in fresh clean water for a few minutes,
lightly wring out, so still damp yet not dripping,
tie each towel into a big knot,
freeze individually.
when your pup starts chewing something he shouldn't, take it away and give him one of his new frozen toys - he'll love chewing at it and the coldness will sooth his sore gums during teething.
best of luck :)

He's just teething. All my life I've been around dogs and I have 3 currently. Not one of them didn't chew things. I suggest getting a "no chew" spray at a pet store.

Your pup is definetely teething. Make sure he has plenty of soft toys to chew on. You can try freezing a wet washcloth for him to chew on, it always worked with my pups. Also, try not to let him chew on anything too hard, this will only hurt his gums more and make them bleed more. He should be done teething when he is about 6-7 months old.
Good Luck!!

Chewing/biting are generally associated with teething at this age - get him some chew bones - toys - pig ears to chew on - if you find something he would rather chew on - that's what he will choose
Don't punish him for chewing - it is natural and it hurts him not to chew

could be teething, boredom, lack of proper exercise...before you put him in his crate, make sure you tire him out(a 30-40 minute walk will do...). Leave him with something that he can chew on, like a Kong stuffed with goodies (Nutro makes wonderful desserts that you can stuff your Kong toy with, and you can put it in the freezer, it numbs the pain of teething...). You can also try to spray it with Bitter Apple, but dogs are individuals, some actually like the taste of it...

Puppies love to chew especially when there new teeth come in. I would make sure there are plenty of hard chew toys for him to play with. Good luck

He is teething. All dogs do it, just some more than others. Make sure the things you like are off the floor. We gave are dachshund an old pair of work socks that were tied in a knot. It go her through the worst of it.

that is what puppies do. They chew and bite things. If he is tearing things up you will have to take out the blanket and give him something he CAN chew on.
