She will not stay in her bed and she sleeps either on the carpet floor or on top of the couch.

All the people who told you that its virtually next to IMPOSSIBLE to MAKE your cat sleep at an appointed place are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. :( This is the reason why I never buy cat beds. Your cat will either like to sleep in that cat bed or not. And if she doesn't, there's not much you can do to make her stay in there short of taping her bodily to it. Make it attractive by putting some catnip in the folds of the bed? What if your cat isn'r impresswith catnip like both of my cats? But this is what I know - cats are "perching" creatures; so if you put the bed on a high shelf like the top of a book case, MAYBE your cat will decide to perch up there in the bed!

Sorry if this isn't much help. :(

My kitten slept in her bed for about 2 weeks then moved to some rolled up carpet then on to the spare bed and now she sleeps on my pillow with me! I tried tp encourage her to sleep in one of her beds but she wasn't having any of it!

Cats are very independent! They don't generally train well. I think I'd let her sleep where she chooses. Mine sleeps in front of the fridge because the fan keeps her cool in summer and warm in the winter!! Or on the carpet lying in a sunny spot!

Well if she's a very young kitten you could try giving her her favorite fatty food next to her pillow when she's tired. Maybe after awhile she'll be conditioned to go there when she sleeps. Tough luck, though. Cat's wills are hard to bend.

chances are your kitten will not sleep in the bed. she will choose wherever is cozy for her. you can try to put a little kat-nip a her bed to make it more appealing to her but dont hold your breath!!

GOOD LUCK

Oh, I had gotten my cat a bed and he never ever used it! They find their spot, period.

Cats will generally not do what you want. They are cats. --- You could try some 'velcro' and a half a Sominex.

What does it matter where she sleeps? Let her be comfortable.
