If I had 9 cups I would be irritable too. Here is an idea...teach him to drink decaf. And the dog well just give him non-alcoholic beer.

I paired a soft rubber mouse with a very small R/C car and tried it out on her seal point and her lazy old gray. At 1st they were curious (I rubbed it down /fish oil). Then shocked as it chased them down the hall. (Sushi jumped a foot, took off like a shot and hid under the bed. But intrigued by that 10" tail, they soon found worthy sport.
I have to keep replacing the tail though.

We had a cat named Coffee once. He found a cat in our barn & we named her Sanka. Both now deceased. Maybe this will give your cat an incentive to stop drinking coffee. We also had siamese cats named Sugar & Cream. We really named our cats these names. I could go on w/other names. But seriously, I would try catnip. Works every time.
