Pets - 11 October 2006

My cat is about 12 years old (people years) and for about the past 2 years she has intermittently pooped on the floor instead of in the box. Sometimes it makes sense, if I have forgotten to scoop or the litter level is too low. Other times though it seems like she does it just because she is unhappy with me (I haven't given her enough attention, I didn't let her outside when she wanted me to, or if I have been gone for a weekend.) Is there a way to fix this behavior or is it just a case of not teaching an old cat new tricks?
Please help, my boyfriend is ready to get rid of her!

wtf crazy guy help me?

ok this guy lives behind me says that I can not keep my 2 dogs caged in a small area of space and he says i have to keep them in the house and since that my dog keeps barking and he says that caging them up in a small space is illegal?messed guy huh and he says he gonna call animal control to take away my dogs and I lie in Nevada Las Vegas.

immune mediated thrombocytopenia?

heart pumps hard in my dog?

i have a 2 year old pug that got fleas a week ago. I bought some over the counter sergeants flea control for him. After I read online that it is a severe poison, I washed it off right away. (less than a day of contact). I went to the vet and got some advantage and put that on him instead. Vet said dog (pug) had an ear infection, and gave him a shot of dexemathasone. Two days after the vet visit, the dogs heart pumps really hard whenever he moves around. He also is panting a lot. When he lays down for little bit, his heart will calm down, but I can still see it pumping in his chest. Is he having a reaction to the medication or the shot?

His heart also pumps a lot when he just barks and is sitting still

I'm going to lose my dog?

This summer me and my Mom are going to be with my Dad for a year, after grauation. I really am excited, except not only does that mean I'm leaving my friends for a year, I'm lgoing to have give away my dog. I don't want to, but how could she ...Dad doesn't want her to come. It does limit things you can do, and yeah, it wouldn't work...and I'm allergic, Stupid, I know. Its just I love her, and I don't want to lose her. I don't know what else to say. I worked hard to get her.

question about schnauzers?

I have a three year old schnauzer adn every night, he seems to have somethign stuck in its throat because it is coughing or trying to clear its throat. This breed has longer hair than others and i am curious if anyone else's Schnauzer goes through this routine every night or day. I don't think it is anything near bloat because I feed him a high quality meal, don't let him exercise or run around for about an hour or two after eating and anything else that could contribute to bloat.

How to stop my dogs sheeding?

What is the average weight for a 5 week old kitten?

I found her on my front lawn a few days ago and had her checked out by the vet; she's fine, but I've never had a cat before and I'm concerned that she's underweight and if I should be feeding her a little bit more to help her catch up. Right now she weighs 1 lb 2 oz.
