okay my 4 year old poodle had her period 4 a few days ...and a few days later her period left...but on the 2 day it left,, this dog came over and mated her!!!! and im not sure if shes pregnant or not cuz her period had gone for 2 days...she got mated on sept.30.2006 and today is october 12!!!!!!
please answer!!!

I have one cat already and i got anther kitten about a week ago, i now found out im moving in a week. Im worried about the stress it will put on the new one for moving yet again. He has settled down very nicely this week. And the other one im sure will be better, but it is yet anther change - the kitten was hard enough the first couple of days.

Please give me some tips to help!! i know to keep them in 1 room for a few days... but what about the day i move etc.... THANKS

When i went to pick him up he was sooooo hyper with his brothers..but once i took him into the car he was super shy. I kinda expected this because hes in a new place..but i was wondering how long it will take for him to get used to mee. He looks so sad right now..i feel so bad for taking him away from his brothers! And the breeder gave me the moms blanket because my pup likes the smell bc it was his mothers. I'm starting to think it was too soon to take the pup. But i dont know...its just sad how it looks sooooo sad! haha.

recently i took in a stray kitten which is around now 11 weeks old now..her name is april and she is a orange tabby. She is a Playful and loving kitten, but like a few days ago my grandmother decided that we should get her a friend to play with.... so we went and searched for a kitten yesterday and got us a 6 weeks old female calico kitten which we have named Layla. Since we have brought her here..April has hissed at her...and doesnt like going around her...if I am not watching them constantly...April will be pouncing on and what seems to be like hopping and biting Layla...and layla is trying to fight back and is crying abit sometimes...and april is just chasing down when layla trys to get away.....SOOO my question finally is.... is this just april playing..or actually trying to hurt Layla and if its her hurting layla...why?

I've had my fish for about a month now, and I've been feeding it 6-7 betta gold pellets a day. However, a few days ago I noticed that it was tilted to its side, about 45 degrees, although it remained horizontal. I figured I was overfeeding it (although he seemed fine with the scheadule before) so I stopped giving him food for a day or two. This morning he was swimming regularly again, so I fed him three pellets, but just now I realised that he was tilting again, in the other direction this time.

My questions is why he's doing this, and how do I fix it?

I added Bronze Corydoras to a fish tank containing a Pearl gourami, a Blue gourami, a Paradise fish, and some snails. Is my fish combination okay? What do I feed the Bronze Corys? My cats name is nemo. he is a sweet kitty cat. I JUST GOT HIM this summer from a couple. he was overweght when I got him but still a cool cat. since then I have been trying to feed him healthy catfood. he is only 3 years old and neuterd. I know netured cats seem to gain weight. but how can I help him lose weght? I want him to live a long as possible. Is my cat being obese effect the way how long his life is? he is not SUPER fat but pretty big. I don't have money to go to the vet.( I See no point to either cause he seems pretty healthy). the only problem I have is he is fat. help my fat feline please!

I had a plecostemus in my freshwater fishtank for years, and it recently died. I bought another, so I wouldn't accumulate too much algae, but it promptly died too. Then a third one lived for only a week in my tank. There's enough algae and decay in the tank to keep them nourished, and my chemical, PH, and heavy metal levels are all on target. What tank condition would kill off plecos so consistently, while all my other fish are alive and healthy, and the tank's bio level is well adjusted? Any thoughts?
