American Bulldog and a Pit Bull are two different breeds. American Bulldogs do not have terrier mixed in the blood. The only common nitch is that both have Bulldog in the blood.

they are two different breeds but alot of people try to pass off a pit as an american bulldog if the area they live in has a ban on pits....they can look similar because of color or the square shape of their heads....do you have papers on your dog?if so why would you question her breeding?also if you are going to own one you should do research on the breed.....

If your dog is an American bulldog, then it is not a pit bull. They are different breeds.
