i change the tank/ cage for hamsters and fish and they all end up dying..even my plants die..and i take good care of them all. i feed them regularily, change water, what am i doing wrong? help plz!!

My dog is in heet now (as of yesterday). She is 2 1/2 yo. Buddy is 7. Neither one have been bred before. They have had a few play dates in the last few months to get ready for the big day. Is there a certain time during the heet to mate? Do they have to be together for a certain amount of time or over several days? How do I know if she has conceived? If she conceives, does the heet stop? How long does she carry the pups? Any info would be of most help. Thanks to all who respond.

i jus bought two gold fish and got them into the bowl and everything, i tried to feed them, but they wont go to the surface of the water, so i dont think they know that theres food there. i want them to eat somthin... what should i do?

He sems to have a never ending undercoat that virtually falls off him and leves fur balls all over the house and accumulates under furniture. Not to mention the fur he can leave on pants if he walks by someone. He is a Sheperd Chow mix.

My puppy is 8 months old and still cries in his crate...any ideas??? He's only in there a few hours a day (when my fiance is sleeping..he works nights, I work days) but when he knows there's someone else home he cries in his crate.

my bunny is really young, maybe 5 or 6 weeks old, and he's kinda different.. lol... he doesnt hate water, actually he will sit in his water bowl, of course there isn't that much water inside when he does, and i let him out of his cage often and let him run around in my room but how do i get him to stop doing his business all over my room????

My beautiful 4 yo cat has this problem, hes not blocked the vet said to give him soft food only (for more moisture) to encourage water, and gave him a pill to take. Has anyone ever had the same experience? does this treatment work? Also how do you get a cat to eat soft food after eating hard food for 4 years? He turns his nose up at it. ANY suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

I was given two kittens a couple weeks ago, and they were going to be mousers for a barn.

One of them went missing, and the other was up in a tree hiding very far away from the barn. They never stray far at all from the barn. they are about 8 weeks old. It dissapeared between 12 midnight and 4am.

There has been a hawk flying around, which I suspect may have taken him.

Should I shoot the hawk? I don't like killing things, but in order to protect other animals, I will.

My puppy is 15 weeks old. This does not happen as much when I leave but when I come home she just freaks out. Barking, jumping, licking, and just spazzing out for about 20 minutes. Also, when I am at home with her when I take her outside to go to the bathroom I cannot even go near the door or she starts barking and going crazy. I don't have any idea what to do and I could really apprectiate any help or advice.
