You might try putting out cans of wet food, cats seem to have trouble resisting the smell of those. Look in any tight space the cat might be nestling into. Look in drawers, under furniture, behind furniture, in closets, etc. Also consider the possibility that the cat may have gotten outside.

I hope you find the kitty soon!

Besides looking everywhere put food, litter box and water in several places. If you find food missing from one place you will have a hint. Usually she will come out at night to eat at first.

I got a 5yr old cat and she didn't come out from behind the TV for 5 days and didn't eat or drink. I was just about to call the vet when she decided to be social.

Awww...whenever she starts to get hungry she will meow and start to emerge from where ever she/he is. You can sometimes coax her to come out when you meow like a momma cat. When a mom cat calls for her kitten she makes a slight mono tone meow. You don't have to but you can try. Look in boxes like soda boxes...etc...they like to fall asleep in them. In clothing piles as well.

Common places you can find hiding kitties are behind, under couches, and recliners. Be very carefull about recliners and kittens....sometimes they climb up into it and and if somebody sits on it, kitty will get very injured.

first don't panic...go from room to room and look under and above everything doors, beds, chairs every piece of furniture, even clothing (don't know how but mine has a tendency of hiding in a pile of cloths), the bathtub, and sink behind the door, call out here kitty, kitty, shake a bag of treats (sometimes it works most of the time they just watch you while you are looking for them.) Every cat likes to find a hiding spot sometimes they will reuse that spot when they are taking their naps, mine likes to sleep around so every time i come home its a different spot. You could wait till its dinner time and they come out when they get hungry but I never could wait.

Don't panic the same thing happened to me once, just relax and the kitten will come out of it's hiding place when it feels comfortable. It may take as long as a day.

Sometimes cats "hide" when they are sick or injured, he could also be stuck someplace and not really hiding. My cat likes to get up under the box springs of my daughter bed sometimes too... or sneak into the closet just as I close the door, they also like dryers too, nice warm dark place to nap and some cats like to crawl up in engine compartments of vehicles! good luck

Try putting bowls of food at various locations around the house. If you have any stuffed chairs that have open bottoms, look up from underneath the chair. I have such a chair and my cats crawl up there and sit on the frame when they're in big trouble!

He's there someplace, unless he escaped when you opened your front door!

I hope it hasn't been too long! Just kidding. Try playing with a toy you think it would like (maybe aon that makes noise?) or put out some cat food (canned).

He's there somewhere. Keep out food and water for when he gets over being frightened. He will not allow himself to starve. He will come to you in his own time.
