Born under a bad moon I guess. Seriously, you might be choosing varieties that are a bit on the delicate side. For fish for instance, try Beta's, they're very very hardy.

as far as for fish, you could be loving them to death. When you clean the tank, use a siphon and suck the poop out of the gravel, but leave 2/3 of the water in the tank. Replace the water with water you left in a bucket out over night, or use the proper amount of dechlorinator. Never drain the tank and scrub the sides. The tank is an eco-environment like a pond; it needs the good bugs and microbes to break down waste. Feed them 2 times a day, but be sparing with the amount, don't overfeed them...you aren't being nice by being generous...The extra food just sinks to the bottom and starts a nitrogen/nitrate accumulation. You should change 1/4 of the volume of water once a month. Pet stores have a great little cheap vacuum for that purpose.

Let the soil of your house plants dry out a little once in a while, don't overwater.

I don't know anything about hamsters, but I have parrots...I give them fresh filtered water every day to drink and I wash their bowls often. I wouldn't want to eat out of the toilet.

I don't know much about hamsters but fish I can help you with:

When you change their water it should be a maximum change of only 20% of the total amount or else you are effecting the balance of nitrates, etc. Also, make sure you add dechlorinator to their water or a combo condition as their is a lot of chlorine in our water (to kill bacteria). You may want to get your tap water tested at a local pet store or buy a kit for at home. The following is the normal for freshwater:

pH: 7.0ish
Nitrate: low but some is good
NitrITE: zero!!!
Ammonia/Chlorine/Chloramine: ZERO!

Also, water hardness makes pH lowering more difficult so you can check that also.

Stay away from silver sided fish for the original tank setup and if you have water problems as they are very sensitive!!!

Don't use soap when cleaning your tank because if you don't get it ALL out the fish will die. I used store bought gallons of water to fill my tank back up. I think beta fish only live about 2 years anyway. At least that is what they said when I got mine.
Make sure hamster cages are completely dry before putting them back in and keep cage away from drafty areas.

you may properly be very considerate to ask that, that's going to remember on the character very lots and there is no glaring answer pondering it extremely is as much as you. properly suited now in in basic terms 10 seconds a minimum of two billion fish are dying from guy, nature, or different deaths. To me one fish according to individual is sweet see you later as you get your fill and could desire to not: A. Stuffing your self and over fishing via getting 20 fish for 3 people Or B. Catching 3 fish then thoroughly dropping them by using using going out to dinner that night time or lunch that night superb desires The Fish scientific professional, in case you have extra questions i'm going to go away a assertion or bypass away a question in the fish area categorised: expensive The Fish standard practitioner:............thank you!

Keep them out of direct sunlight? Interacted with them? Really changed the soiliness of the cages weekly? Fed them what they were supposed to be fed? Not just dinner/breakfast scraps?

I had a Siamese fighting fish required only blood worms. Not goldfish food.

hamsters need that pet food from a pet store. Not table scraps.

plants need that miracle gro stuff dabbed in every month or so. Mix it in with water. Plants need 50% light, some darkness too.

Fed you animals daily or weekly? Starve them to death?

LOL. I have the same problem with plants. But that's because my cats destroy them. My mom kept her fish tank near the microwave and she couldn't keep a fish alive for longer than 6 months. We moved the tank, and now the things are reproducing.

As for fish, you could be getting old fish, water temp cold be off too. As for the hamsters, I can't help you. My mom would never let me have any and now my husband won't let me get one either. Not that I want one, my cats would just eat it. Like they do the plants.

It could be a number of things. Maybe they are not getting the vitamins, and things they need. Maybe its the wrong kind of food. Do you have a salt lick for your hamsters? Did you have a wheel? Never had bad luck with hamsters, just with them biting me.

With fish. It could be something as simple as the city. One time I moved from one town to another and reset up my tanks with the new water let it culture, and my fish died on me even though the water test came back normal.
