When did you buy them?

Fish can get stressed out very easily... and just like people, eating is the last thing on their mind when something traumatic has just happened like being scooped, bagged, and dropped into a new tank.

Some fish get acclimated to their new surroundings and calm down within minutes, others can take up to a few days.

Fish— especially goldfish, are pigs and will eat themselves sick given the opportunity. You should not be worried about your fish finding the food. I would just let them be, don't hover around the tank too much and maybe even dim the lights a little. This will all help them relax and they'll be fat and hungry for more before you know it.

They may just be stressed right now. Give them a day to recover. Try putting your finger on the surface the water, and sort of gently rubbing the surface of the water. Then put the fish in.

FYI- You aren't going to be able to keep both of them in a bowl long term. They grow quite rapidily and each fish needs about 5-10 gallons of water. You might be able to go longer in a bowl if you change the water every few days. Generally goldfish in a bowl only live 1-3 years, while ones in tanks with enough room live for 8-15 years. Goldfish are an incredibly high waste fish.

If you don't get them a tank of at least 20 gallons it wont matter if they eat or not cause they will die anyway. Goldfish need at least 10 gallons each, next time do a little research before you buy a living creature. If you do get them a proper size tank, just keep feeding them a little every day and they will eventually learn that the food is at the top.

Actually I did answer your question, maybe you should learn to read too. And I guess I can just lock you in a closet cause your just an idiot if that's how you want look at it. I actually hope someone does and tortures you every second of your life until you die so you know what if felt like to be your pet.

Put the tip of your finger into the water, and jiggle it slightly. The fish will look up and see your finger wiggling, and think it's food, make sure you do this near the food you put in. Also make sure you have not over-fed them. They just may not be hungry. Like my Betas, you only need to feed a small fish once every other day, or else they may eat too much and die. Make sure also that it is quiet while you get them to follow your finger, that way no other sounds interfere with them hearing your splash. Good Luck

goldfish are like that they will eat when they get ready don't feed them for a few days 2 or 3 (they won't starve until 4or 5 weeks w/o food) then feed them just a pinch every other day. They need time to calm down where they are new. makesure you are feeding them the slowly sinking foods made for goldfish- floating foods like flakes will give the gold fish upset stomachs because they will swallow air too, and fast sinking foods cause goldfish to mistakenly eat gravels- causing a new problem.

Gold fish from the pet shop are feed or programed to be feed on a certain time. Maybe, your fish tank water is not balanced. Bring a sample of your fish tank water to the petshop and they will be happy to tell you 'll need.
