I have staring contests with my dog and I lose everytime. I don't even think he has eyelids!

Yeah.. they just don't have to blink as much as we do.

Yes dogs definitely blink. Although not as often as us and they have mastered the stare because that is a form of dominance in dog language. The winner is alpha dog.
