I have a female pomeranian that is about 1 yr old. She is of course an inside dog and she has the WORST problem with sheeding! Does anyone know how to help her or stop this? The hair around my house is driving me crazy, I can't keep it off anything.

it is almost impossible to stop a dog from shedding. it is natural for them to loose some hair. some dogs loose more than others im sorry to tell you. try brushing her more often to get rid of the loose hair that would otherwise end up on your furniture or floor. at certain times of the year ex. summer and beginning of winter a dog will shed more. good luck

I have a male Pom that is a year this month. There are 2 times a year when they shed like CRAZY!!!!!!!! The only thing you can do is brush them alot untill they are through with this bout. Expect it before summer and in the fall. I sympathize with you though. Mine is a black Pom and it is discusting to look at on the floor. They are so damn cute though!

I have the same problem ....BRUSHing the dog .. is the best way to combat this . on a daily basis. You will have hair .. but it wont be so bad .. Plus vacuming everyday will help this problem . possibly putting a sheet over your couch may help .. this way you can easily pick it up and throw it into the washer. BRUSH YOUR DOG and vacume your home DAILY

All you can really do to control the pet hair is to brush daily, or use the vacuum hose(with pet attachment), my dog loves this and get pushy when I use the hose for corners and under the baseboards, he wants me to vacuum him.

Brush her regularly, and use a spray on her coat called "LoShed" (you can get it online at most of the larger pet supply places).
