Does anyone else love cats? Mine is SSSOOOO spoiled. It's a kitten.

Ferret! You have a cat and snakes are cool but what can you do? look at it? Ferrets are fun to play with and after a while they will most likely get along with your cat too and play together. They are just so energetic and fun- but just so you know, even if they have had thier sweat gland removed, which "takes away the smell" they still have an odor. not horrible but if keep them clean they're fine! you can get them at pet co or any pet store- and they are about $130. they can be expensive starting off but so worth it! they are awesome! the way the can bend and when they run.. you can even get ferret clothes! oh- the even use the cat's litterbox! mine just went straight in there one day and used it - i have never shown her a litter box prior to that. if they dont have one in their cage- they will go to the bathroom on one side so their cage pretty much stays clean. they are very intellegent.

Cat food is higher protein, by design, than dog food. So, to a dog getting dog food is good stuff but getting cat food is like "hells yeah." Cat food is the filet mignon and dog food the ground beef? Something like that. But, feed your doggy, if you have one, dog food as they'd probably get overweight with cat food. And, it's not designed for them anyway. Also, watch the liter box too. Dogs love kitty poo. Apparently, there is undigested cat food in it. So that too it a treat for them.

Because dogs are always picking on cats... Remember when you were a kid? You'd be jealous if your little brother was given an ice cream, or a chocolate bar and you got only a little candy, so you'd try to take that ice cream away from your little brother. Same with cats and dogs.

dogs enjoy cats food for the same reason that they like people food. it is not what they usually eat and therefore tastes different. if you had to eat one thing everyday and that was all you were allowed to eat you would be happy to eat anything else just like dogs do.

CAT FOOD HAS EXTRA SALT ADDED SO THE CATS WILL DRINK WATER. I THINK DOGS LIKE THE EXTRA SALT BUT IT'S NOT GOOD FOR THEM. MY DOG DID THE SAME THING. I HAD TO PUT THE CAT FOOD WHERE HE COULDN'T GET TO IT, THE DOG.

Cat food is much higher in protein than dog food --
-- that is probably why dogs prefer cat food.
But cat food is not good for them -- too much protein is bad for their kidneys.

I don't know. All I know is that - THAT'S TRUE! yet a cat only enjoys dogfood when all the catfood is gone and the mice are out for the night.

I think dogs just love anything that isn't meant for then to eat. My dog waits at the fish tank when we feed our fish pellets and she eats them up if we drop any!

Dogs are like little kids, they want what isn't theirs. I LOVE DOGS cats are cool too but not my fave.
