Why is it that it's usually girls that are allergic to cats, I've yet to see one guy on Yahoo Answer say the same thing?

I got my last cat from my younger sister who was allergic to CATS! She went into the military and got herself another CAT! The doctor's there gave her some kind of allergy meds, and she still has the same CAT!

Guys should admit to allergies, that way they can blame the cat when they cry during sad movies. Just kidding, maybe it is just something guys don't talk about because I know several guys who are allergic to cats and dogs.

My brother is Alergic and guess where my cat likes to sleep when he isnt there. Right on his pillow *grin* Yes I'm the evil little sister letting my cat do that.

my dad's allergic to cats, and a guy i work with (at the vet office, no less) is allergic to cats. i think guys just don't like admitting it, or, at the very least, don't complain about it.

Honestly, I think women are more willing to admit to allergies. I don't think men like to admit that they have some wrong with them that is caused by something so small. . .
Doesn't mean they are weak! Just that it is not a 'cool' thing to do!

Hmmm, my ex-husband was allergic. I always said I'd get rid of him before I got rid of my cats.... ;-)

l dont know, l got tested am im not allerigic to them,but to rats yes indeed.
