My cat gets diarehha when she eats can cat food but thats all she wants to eat. I also give her dry food in Friskies indoor cat food and she hates it , the can food is friskies tuna. I need something for her that she will like and not make her have diareaha.

I just bought 2 male, 3 month old hamsters as pets, and thought they may want companionship or be playmates, but all I read and hear says they need to be alone...
Should I take one back to the store?
I have a 2 week option of taking 1 back...

She's an indoor, declawed 12 yr. cat , my "baby". She jumps over every doorway and creeps around the house like there's something here. I know I had mice before, so she's heard them in the walls! I just say "hey!" or whatever and she jumps, all 4's come off the floor. I feel sorry for her, but I've lived here for 10 yrs. and you would think she would feel at home by now and not so scared! How can I help her from being so scared of every little noise? Thanks for the help.

I have read so many conflicting things. We had an adult duck adopt us. We loved her so much but a dog killed her. She was easy to take care of though. She caught most of her own food plus ate cat food, scraps, and my son always brought her home minnows and fish. So we just had to go get another one. But it's tiny baby. We went to the feed store and got chicken starter. But she won't eat it!!! We have to go catch her grasshoppers every day. I know you're not supposed to give them bread but I tried mixing specs of bread with the starter food and she still picks through and only eats the bread. I tried shredded lettuce, broccoli, boiled eggs. What do I do with her? I also gave her some bird gravel and have it in her pen at all times. We are on social security so I just don't have the money to buy crickets and feeder goldfish or guppies. She eats a dozen at a time? Also, is this normal? I feed her 12 grasshoppers twice a day. She ate 8 little goldfish at once. HELP.

I captured a baby squirrel that was injured (brain injury most likely) and am going to turn it into a wildlife rehab center in the morning - he seems to be calmed by petting with a paper towel. Is there any harm to myself from touching it with my bare hands to pet it? I'm pretty sure they don't carry any diseases of any concern as long as I don't like, stick my fingers in my mouth or anything but if anyone knows anything about this sort of thing let me know :)

Our Dachshund puppy, 9 months old has had surgery Sept. 1, then again today, Sept. 18th, for swallowing foreign objects.. ( tampon first time, then grass and cardboard today) Is there ANY way to train him to not do that?? can't afford any more surgeries! We really love this dog.. I watched him being born, and have a bond with him.. he's a beautiful, longhaired dappled dachshund. Please, any advice would be appreciated! thanks...

Why does our Beta build a bubble nest at the surface of the water when it lives alone in its tank? I don't even know if this is a male or a female? How do you tell them apart? Is it a sign that it needs a mate?

He has always insisted that the litter box be cleaned daily. Lately, he has decided that the corner in the livingroom is his spot of choice. We took him to the vet and he checked out fine. We have tried rubbing his nose in it and yelling at him, but that does not work. He seems to be going at night. We know right away when he has not used the litter box because he tries to slink away when we get up in the morning.
