My dog hurt her hip and the vet has said after an xray that she is showing deterieration in her hip. She is a lab collie cross and 7 years old. I have started giving her some olive oil with her food which I have been told is good. Any other ideas to help her joints?

My cats are getting way too fat. How can I convince my darling husband that feeding them 3 cans of food a day is not a healthy solution?

My kitty doesnt use the litter box, she's three years old, and she used to use the litter box, but now she goes right in front of my front door, it's gross... every time I open the door, people see that she pooed there.... it ssooooosooooosooo gross and it needs to stop! Now! I'm sick of it!! I'm not gunna get rid of her, (Or get her killed) , Thats just stupid! I just want a way to get her to stop without hurting or getting her sick OR KILLING HER...(Ect.) .... But im getting into trouble because of it...He rlitter box is clean, shes not sick, and i am NOT going to put her into a cage, She doesnt bite and only scratches if you make her, she doesnt have a UTI, we checked...we have a clean place, (not where she goes though) , And i love thhis cat with all my heart.... Please help me.

i have a kitten that was given to me by my sister because the owner was gonna put them to sleep, shes only 7 weeks now and i got her at 5 weeks which i heard was too earlier but i couldn't just let her get put to sleep like that. Anyways she can't really eat dry food even the kitten food i get her, she eats maybe one or two and meows while she eats so i thought it was hurting her teeth, i was wondering is it okay to just give her wet food because i don't want her to get hooked on it. I had another cat before but he was 2 when i got him so dry food wasn't hard to get and it's cheaper.

Just adopted n took my kitty this weekend. the shelter( WHS) said that he was about 4 months though he looks bigger than kittens I've seen at that age. I am worried about him getting hurt by my much heavier cat. Snuggles(male) could be anywhere from 2-6 years Vet says he's young. He's had all his shots n we've had him 4 6 months next Sunday. I rescued him off the street. He's about 14 lbs n mostly of muscle. I'd say he's moody but he seems 2 be getting along great with my kitten( Pumpkin). I want 2 know is it likely 4 them to get in a fight? hes playful but them seem to work things out. Could my older cat kill him or seriously hurt him? If I am there I'd stop the fight. they haven't had 1 yet n they seem 2 like each other but could my bigger cat turn on Pumpkin? also we feed them on the window sill they have seperate dishes or 2 different windows but will each out of each others could dis start a fight like it does dogs? with a cat/kitten they want 2 play do they know 2 stop?

dog has been very nervios and shakes real bad if she hears loud noises. she even shakes real bad if the is a fly in the room. when I say she shakes I , mean villantly. She use to love walks and now will not go.

Lilith Stares at me the whole time I am on the toilet. If I mange to close the door before she gets in she puts her paws under the door in an effort to get in.If she gets in... she will stretch and reach for my nose. If I am in the Tub, she is there.. sometimes along the edge patrolling. But... any other time ... she is like evil. (though she waits at the door for us) Whats going on in her lil mind???

My Pancake, love her to death, is kind of driving me insane. She is a calico type cat and is nearing 9 months old. For starters I've never owned a cat before her. She will follow me around everywhere and wait outside of doors for me to come back. She won't let me pet her at all but she will sit on me and lick me. She is constantly meowing and sounds so very sad. When I first got her at 5 months old she grew to "love" me and would let me love all over her. I've never mistreated her and kept her area cleaned and her stomache full. What in the world could be the matter? My vet says its normal for her to do this, but I don't thinks so.
