It's very normal for a kitten to not open it's eyes until it is over 2 weeks old and maybe not until it is 4 weeks, which is normal too. I hope that you haven't removed the kitten from it's mama yet, as kittens need to stay with thier mom until they are at least 6 to 8 weeks old. After that it is safe to start feeding them kitten food. Most likely, most mama cats will wean the kittens themselves by acting as if they lose interest in nursing and start staying away from the litter of kittens longer and longer. Then it is good to start feeding them other food.

the probability is that the kitten gets around to it is going to truthfully - there is time yet, so do no longer start up getting aggravating until 14 days on the very earliest - it may desire to take longer. If the kitten's eyes quite do no longer open take it to the vet. I actually have a cat - now 15 - who's eyes did no longer open good. He had an operation to open them, yet his eyes for sure did no longer kind good, and he's extra or much less blind. It would not provide up him mountaineering the furniture and having an extremely finished existence inspite of the incontrovertible fact that, and that i does no longer be without him!

It takes a kitten 14 days to open their eyes. Same for puppies. Be patient.

why do you have a nine day old kitten? Kittens NEED, absoulutley NEED momma's milk for at least 4 to 5 weeks and they usually open their little eyes at about four weeks. get that kitty back to it's momma! or contact a vet!

She will within a month, its usually 2 weeks it happens, just make sure her eyes arent all gunky. If they have any crusties on their eyes it can malform their eyes and cause them to be blind
