Her eyes are not red, the fluid seems like simple water, it's not thick or gross, and she doesnt have very 'buggish eyes' like some Chi's can have- she has a 'deer-head'. I also don't think it bothers her- but she sure is prettier when it isnt there.

First of all, my husband, myself, and our 18 month old daughter live in an apartment. Our daughter loves cats and is actually really sweet and gentle with them, so we would really like to get a kitten. And we would like it to be an indoor cat.

How do you litterbox train a kitten?
About how much do you pay a week for cat food and litter for one cat?
I am mildly allergic to cats. But usually only have problems in homes with multiple cats and if I touch my eyes. My friend washes her cats. Anyone else do this?
What age is a good age to get a kitten?
Do I have to get shots for an indoor cat? Cost?
Anything else I should know about owning a kitten/cat?
We have no other pets, and its been a long time since I have had one myself. I know I could just look this stuff up, but I prefer to get real-life experiences from people. Thanks so much!!!

I have an Olde English Bulldog who is about 1 1/2 years old..When we first got him, he was sweet and loving, we told people he would never hurt a fly. Now, he is snapping at people, and you cannot go near him, or he turns into a monster. Could this be because he needs to be fixed or breed?

I have a pair of quail, hope to enlarge the flock, everyone else I know with them have plenty of eggs, I hardly get any. where is best to keep them, best feeding and will they sit on a clutch of eggs or should I use an incubator.

I have 3 tanks, 2 10 gallon and 1 5 gallon tank without a lid on it. (the other 2 have UV/Florescent lighting). I am going to get guppyes, so how many should I get? I don't want them to over breed, so I was thinking maybe I should get 3 males and 1 female? (the males are more colorful and females are kind of dull). I do want fry but not a lot. So should I get a tank separator and get 3 male and 1 or 2 female and split them up in the same tank but with a separator? So that the other tank can be for the fry? (Im not planning on using my 5 gallon tank because it doesnt have a lid and it takes up too much space).
Also is it a good idea to separate the fish into male and female but yet keep them in the same tank with a dividor? Also what will happen if I get 3 male and 1 female?

If I crawled around on all fours, hopped around, attached some huge bunny ears to my head, ate from a bowl on the ground filled with hay and pellets, and occasionally screamed like a rabbit, would my pet rabbit accept me as a fellow rabbit?

I think one way a human can become closer to his or her pet is to act like the pet. Like basically the more pet-like you yourself act, the more acceptance you may gain from the pet.

For example, consider a black person in the streets of Chicago or Detroit. Acting "black"--that is, selling drugs, committing crimes, acting "Ghetto", listening to rap, not being able to read or write "good", and talking in ebonics--is one way for a person to be accepted by other blacks. So I think this logic may also apply to rabbits, dogs, cats, etc.

My dog is let out all of the time. She even goes to the restroom outside! But, she also loves to go #2 inside. Even if she was just outside. It is frustrating. Any thoughts?

Does the coat grow back normal on an Australian Cattle dog (also know as Australian blue heeler) if you shave them. I have heard that the coat comes back in solid and not the "blue" look any more.

I have a 6 year old Brittany Spanial/Schnauzer mix. She is seriously suffering from split personality disorder. One minute she'll be a loving dog, and the next she'll turn around and try to take your fingers off. She'll growl at me if I pet her, but if I stop petting her, she freaks out and tries to rub her head under my hand to make me pet her. When I do, she growls again! This is just a small example of this weird behavior!! Please tell me what to do to correct this behavior. I am scared that she might bite someone.
