If I crawled around on all fours, hopped around, attached some huge bunny ears to my head, ate from a bowl on the ground filled with hay and pellets, and occasionally screamed like a rabbit, would my pet rabbit accept me as a fellow rabbit?
I think one way a human can become closer to his or her pet is to act like the pet. Like basically the more pet-like you yourself act, the more acceptance you may gain from the pet.
For example, consider a black person in the streets of Chicago or Detroit. Acting "black"--that is, selling drugs, committing crimes, acting "Ghetto", listening to rap, not being able to read or write "good", and talking in ebonics--is one way for a person to be accepted by other blacks. So I think this logic may also apply to rabbits, dogs, cats, etc.

That last part was so not necessary...but because of that paragraph in your writing...I would say...the rabbit will probably smell that you are no way one of his kind, because rabbits are no racists.

ummmm no beacuse human's have a certain smell to them that a rabbit can identify even acting like that will not cause the rabbit to think that you are fellow rabbit it will just make him think that you are crazy and everything like that......lol well anyways if you want to become more bonded to your oet rabbit give it treats, get it a chewtoy play with him do everything you can easy as that i hoped that i helped you
