We have just gotten a type of land turtle (not by choice) and we want to do what is best for it. I know nothing about taking proper care of it so I would like suggestions as to what we can do with it so that it is well cared for. It has a hard shell that is about 5 1/2" long by about 6" wide. Are there organizations that take them? Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

I've set up a new website aimed at street cat rescue at
www.kittiesinthehood.com
It has a live streaming video going, including over the cats in need of rescue at night. I can't get anywhere near the top in a google search under cat rescue, but until today it had been going well, but today my numbers plummeted. Any idea why? Please feel free to check the site out & let me know what you think?
Thanks

My friends cat just recently moved in with me. I have never seen a roach untill tonight (3rd night the cats been here). Im wondering if perhaps this is because i leave a big bowl of water out all day for her. I dont want her to be uncomfortable, but I wonder if she will be okay with a big bowl in the morning (10ish) and a big bowl later on and, nothing over night. I feel terrible doing this but had you seen the size of this roach you would understand.

I rescued a kitten from the streets. When I rescued her she still had the film over her eyes. She wouldn't eat solid food, just milk for almost 4 weeks. Now she plays, eats solid food and will use a litter box.

My goldfish has had fin rot and I tried treating him twice with Maracyn, but it just kept coming back and getting worse. I've decided to up it a level and try Maracyn-Two. Has anyone had any experience with this medication? What can I expect? How were your results? Thanks!

My puppy, Jack tends to get excited and starts nipping and biting my daugher. He tries to do that to us but we tell him "NO!" firmly but my daughter gets scared and starts screaming which I think tends to excite him more and he keeps jumping on her and biting.

Its getting really bad...She is petrified.

My vet says it takes them a bit to adjust to the permanence of the situation. They used to be indoor only and now they can play outside in the garden. They also have a couple new brothers and are adjusting to the new, "hierarchy".

It is natural, and can be found almost anywhere in the world, except in a certain part of Chile, but only on some days? What is it, does ayone know? It is probably a plant or animal, but I don't know. I need the answer. Only serious answers please.

He gets very anxious when seperated from the two other horses I already had. He seemed so laid back when I decided to buy him. Now he acts scared to death if I put him back into the pasture before i put the other two in with him. He runs all over the pasture until they are present. He is a gelding and I already had a mare and another gelding. He handles very well otherwise. Is it possible the cure him of this?

At night I hear racoons (just looked w/ flashlight so I know it's them) & it sounds like 1 is snarling & growling like a lion & the 2nd is screaming like in fear. Is this sex, or fighting, or trying to kill each other? It's really loud.

Usually I use treats for training, but I find myself giving them bite size veggie treats from Petco or Petsmart all the time! Is this bad? They eat about 2.5 meals a day cause they are 6 and 7 months old, but I feed them treats when they are being good, positive reinforcement. How much is too much? I'd say I give them at least 10 bite-size treats a day . Thanks

I recently aquired a beautiful 4 month old Sulfer Crester Cockatoo....she is the smallest of the breed and is very beautiful. I am looking for a really nice name for her. I thought of Penelope (Penny for short) and Lola....any other ideas. She is white with a slight lemon yellow upder her wings and on top of her head.

There are these dogs in our neighbourhood that are eating other dogs. What will happen to them? Will they get sick? Do they get violent? Do I have to worry about my daughter or the other kids in the neighbourhood getting attacked? Serious answers only please!
I don't know what to look up to research it myself and I'm very worried!! Thank you for your time.
