There are these dogs in our neighbourhood that are eating other dogs. What will happen to them? Will they get sick? Do they get violent? Do I have to worry about my daughter or the other kids in the neighbourhood getting attacked? Serious answers only please!
I don't know what to look up to research it myself and I'm very worried!! Thank you for your time.

We live in a rural area, lots of people don't care for their animals as well as we do. They run loose and the odd dog gets shot for tresspassing. I'm guessing the dogs aren't disposed of properly. We don't have animal control anywhere near here. I don't think the dogs are killing each other, I think they are just scavengers. Do they get violent from just eating another dogs flesh? (ewwww, it's so gross)

dogs are hunters but they are also scavengers by nature. if they are eating dead carcassess it is "natural". The problem is that these dogs out roaming around with no owners are going to become feral and start to pack and hunt, which is also "natural". And that's going to be extremely dangerous for small children. Because a pack of feral dogs doesn't care if it's a deer or a raccoon or a kid if they are hungry.

What is going to make them pack and violent has nothing to do with being hungry or eating dog flesh. it's instinct. It has to do with them finding an alpha dog to follow. When dogs live with humans we are the alphas. when they don't they find a dog who is dominant territorial, and some would say vicious to act as their leader.

Some vets theorize that this would be as a result of some variety of a mineral deficiency. Noone really knows for sure. I as soon as had a Pomeranian who had an anxiety disease and would do that all the time. Some dogs do it accordingly of a psychological situation or due to nervousness. Feminine dogs appear to be more prone to it than males. The best way to stop it? Some propose placing meat tenderizer on their meals. There are also other things that you could get from the vet , powders or pills, to position of their food that supposedly makes them much less prone to continue consuming their excrement. Ask the vet for support to get him to discontinue it. Or do some research online and see what has helped different people.

You need to call animal control IMMEDIATELY!
just because they are'nt close does'nt mean you don't fall under their jurisdiction and they won't come.
Out-lying areas are usually not patrolled regularly unless they get complaints because of the time it takes to get there and the gas they have to use.
give them a call NOW and they'll come as soon as possible. If you offer to let them set a live animal trap on your property to help catch these dogs that'll be a huge help to them altho they may very well expect you to pay a deposit for the trap in case it's stolen.
aND no DOGS DO NOT USUALLY EAT OTHER DOGS UNLESS THEY CAN'T FIND ANY THING ELSE TO EAT.Starvation is the slowest and most horrible way to die.It is disgusting and people who own these dogs should ALL be stuck in a cage with no food and water and left to fend for themselves the best and only way they can.
Is it possible for you to put food out for them far away from where your kids play?If you could get a trap and can coax them to it they'll all be gone that much sooner.
And please try to find out who owns as many of these poor animals as possible so they can be held accountable for what they've done.

This is a very bad situation. Normally dogs do not have the instinct to actually eat other dogs unless one dog is dead and the other dog is starving to death with no source of food. Wild dogs will fight and hurt and sometimes even kill each other but they rarely actually eat each other. It's not part of their normal pack behavior and it's something rarely seen in the wild. So these dogs may have been trained to attack this way. I would call animal control immediately, and I would definitely be worried about children, other dogs, cats, etc. This is not normal for dogs!

Some vets theorize that this might be as a result of a few variety of a mineral deficiency. Noone quite is aware of for certain. I as soon as had a Pomeranian who had an anxiousness sickness and might do that at all times. Some puppies do it for this reason of a mental concern or as a result of anxiousness. Female puppies look to be extra susceptible to it than men. How to quit it? Some endorse placing meat tenderizer on their meals. There also are different matters you'll be able to get from the vet , powders or tablets, to position of their meals that supposedly makes them much less more likely to maintain consuming their excrement. Ask the vet for support to get him to quit it. Or perform a little study on-line and notice what has helped different individuals.

I would call animal control.
Tell your daughter to keep an eye on the dogs and stay far a way as possible.
If a dog is killing and eating other dogs animal control will probably put that dog down.

I would talk to the police. It may be fighting dogs that have gotten lose or been abandoned (these dogs are trained to fight by killing and eating little baby puppies). In most states (except mine) it's a felony to have fighting dogs so maybe you could put one of these worthless people behind bars. You probably don't have to be worried about your daughter as these dogs don't attack humans but I would be none the less.

When dogs eat dogs they are in a pack and ARE dangerous to children. Call animal control or the police and inform them of what is going on... NOW!

Sounds like the poor things are starving. I would worry about my kids too-when an animal is starving it isn't too picky about its protein source.

I would call animal control and ask them to set traps. The dogs need to be captured, and if not adoptable, humanely euthanized. They aren't having a very good life right now.

Sounds real bad. Dogs are naturally hunters. The meat won't hurt them but they may start after small children. I have seen many news reports where packs of 'wild dogs' have attack kids. If you know where the dogs are you should call animal control and report it.
