By the sounds of it you have nothing to worry about, both cats are young & this makes it easier as they are less set in their ways....if Snuggles didnt like Pumpkin you would know it! Chances that they will fight/play are very good but Snuggles knows he's older & bigger & in general its the nature of things. He doesnt show any signs of aggression toward Pumpkin so honestly hun I dont think you should worry any more on this subject

First, since your kitten is eating real food, he is over 5 to 6 months old.
Second, it sounds like your older cat LIKES this kitten, and is getting to be friends with him. This is VERY GOOD SIGN. Play with both of them, all 3 of you, at same time. Encourage their love and fun with each other. I do not think your big cat (actually very average weight for a 3 year old cat), will kill this kitten EVER.
Oh my....I see everyone is saying to separate them, even though they play together. They are so wrong. DO NOT SEPARATE THEM NOW. But supervise is ok. REPEAT, DO NOT SEPARATE!!!!
It is important that they be together as much as possible. So don't separate them now! Let them play and be friends. Cats need friends too, you know. Do not worry.
Do not step on kitty. They are small. You can kill kitty if you step on him, so walk carefully, and remind others in your house to walk carefully too.

Yes he could get hurt. Kittens just want to play, & sometimes an older cat will take that as aggression & treat it as such. So the older cat is serious about the fight when the kitten is just playing.
I would definitely keep them apart unless they are supervised till you are 110% sure of how they interact with each other. Especially if your older cat isn't used to other cats. The kitten just might drive your older cat nuts till he calms down.

In all honesty, some kittens are whiny bags. i will especially lots promise you that any kitty you usher in it incredibly is that youthful WILL CRY. purely provide him as lots interest you could muster and once you're abode, permit him out of that mattress room. He desires to discover and learn. he's a transforming into little rascal and desires that bonding time with the different cats. If the Vet mentioned that there is no longer something incorrect with him then he's purely a splash whiny bag. He could strengthen out of it. purely remember. undesirable behaviors could be discouraged no longer rewarded, so do no longer %. him up purely by way of fact he's crying. he will start to narrate the crying with affection and you will on no account get him to end. properly, you're able to whether that is much less confusing....lots much less confusing in case you nip that interior the butt formerly you have too lots extra to do. such as you mentioned, you have 6 different darlings to have a tendency too. sturdy success.

Don't give the kitten more attention than you do to your older cat or he may get jealous. Yes he can hurt her but I don't think he will since he hasn't yet.You will have to get onto him but don't be mean just strict if he gets too rough with the kitten.Tell him Be easy to the kitten.Cats know when it is a baby and usually don't harm them on purpose. It is great of you to adopt them!

Cats figth all the time, my little cat (Gizmo, 11 lbs, (tiny) got into a fight w/ my other cat, (Boxer, 23 lbs, (huge) and was hurt really bad, she had horrible scratches all over her.... but about a day later...i saw Boxer talking care of her, (licking her, laying next to her, ect).. and soon she got better, and i think he knows what he did... because they havent fought since. (She still fights with mooch though.) So they will fight... but that usually isnt that bad... dont worry to much.

Never let them be together unsupervised until the kitten reaches full size. When you can't watch them, keep them separate until then.

keep them seperate as much as possible or until thety seem to know each other...............if one cat has been there longer he/she prolly wont like it......they will fight because that is in a cats nature...but however it is unlikely that it would actually kill
