They will be pretty much the same as a dog, I believe, but I heard they musk, or emit a strong smell. I think you're better off just getting a regular dog. Anyway, if you get a fox, in the US, you'd have to get a permit. You'd have to pay for it every year, year after year, just for the fox. You don't have to do that for a cat or dog.

No. They cannot be domesticated.
Don't take my word for it, though. Find a wildlife rehabilitator in your area and talk to them about it. Unfortunately, many of the animals they have to rehabilitate are the unfortunate wils animals someone got as a baby, thought was adorable, then when it got too hard to handle - ditched it in the nearest wooded area they could find.
No matter what kind of wild animal you have, whether it's a pigeon or a fox or a bear, you cannot raise it from a baby and then release it into the wild - thinking it will be fine! It won't be. the lucky ones will be found and taken to a rehabilitator. The rest starve to death or are eaten.
I'm a former wildlife rehabilitator.

No, a fox does not make a good pet. Foxes have not been domesticated. The natural instincts will take over when the animal is sexually mature such as spraying to mark it's territory (your furniture too). You still want one?

No, a fox would NOT be a good pet. It would be a cute cub, but when its older, it will bite people. And it would be mean to abandon the fox when its older =[.

NO. They are a wild animal and do not ever become totally domesticated. Plus they are a nocturnal animal so they would prowl all night. It also takes special permits to have a wild animal and most places will not allow it.

Well, if you take a fox from the wild, it will definetly have wild animal instincts! It would be better if you adopted a newborn, and trained it from scratch.

no matter how long you have it, once the door is open they are gone, they are always wild, and they are really too nervous for
