Homemade and gourmet does NOT mean they're good for your dog. If the ingredients are OK, then by all means but ya better make sure of the ingredients... IF you want your dog to live a long and healthy life!

I have bought gourmet treats before and my dogs would not eat them! And I have bought several different kinds too!
They liked my homemade ones the best!

No I would rather use the money i'd save from buying gourmet dog treats and buy hotdogs to cut up and give to them.

Yeah, probably, but some commercial dog treats like IAMS already are gourmet.

Sure, dogs like pretty much anything. Also, get a can of chicken broth, and fill up an ice cube try with it. Stuck it in the freezer, and in not to long at all you'll have a treat for your puppy. My dog loves them, and its great since summer is here.

I DO I BUY THEM WHEN EVER I GO TO INDIANA TO VISIT MY FAMILY. DOG TRTEATS THAT ARE GOOD FOR YOUR DOGS (NO SOY ECT) SELL THE BEST. BECAUSE GETTING NOT ONLY TREATS FOR YOUR DOG BUT KNOWING YOU ARE GIVING THEM SOMETHING GOOD FOR THEM IS GOOD.
THEY MAY SELL "GOURMET TREAT" IN PET STORES BUT MOST OF THEM HAVE SOY PRODUCTS AND ARTIFICAL STUFF IN THEM THAT ISNT GOOD FOR OUR DOGS.
