You need to catch her unfortunately. I have been going through this myself. I had to contact the local shelter / animal protection who lent me a Hav-a-hart humane trap, which I had to set every day until I finally caught alllllll of them! We caught 4 adults and 7 kittens. The adults are NOT happy about being caught! You need help from people who are used to dealing with feral cats. At the very least have animal control come and pick them up and cart them off, so at least they are not breeding out of control in your neighborhood. The kittens if you catch them young enough can be totally rehabilitated and homed! I have been doing it, believe me! But you need to act quickly before they get too old. We got all the adults fixed and then released them again, the kittens I found homes for all of them. The traps are also available at your local hardware store, I'm sure. Get one. Use it. When you catch one, cover it up immediately and have animal control number ready to call. If you lived near me I would help you! Call vets, shelters, ask them if they can give you a name of someone who works with ferals or who can help you care for and find homes for kittens. Ask me if you need more information! Thanks for caring! Please catch her before she has to suffer through giving birth outdoors again, and catch the kittens before they are doomed to being terrified of humans for the rest iof their lives too.

Where I live in Southern Illinois there are no cat shelters(within an hour drive and not even positive they take cats either)..Animal control WILL NOT come and collect cats nor do they provide traps.AND I was told I cant do anything to chase them off cuz if any of them get hurt IM responsible!!! I have 5 kittens we found last spring and now their mother just had 4 more.I cant afford to spay and neuter every stray cat in this neighborhood.I wrote Purina asking for help..they shuffled Me off to nowhere. With an answer sorry we cant help..with all the money they make they cant help with some coupons for food. We have ads up and flyers. The only place I havent posted on is craigslist.Im a little leery as I want them to go to safe homes. One of the older kittens is pregnant and will be having hers within the next I would say 20 days. I was trying to be nice and not lets kittens starve NOW I have 11 cats including My neutered 8 year old male I brought from Maine. Im disgusted with this state.Back in Maine you have so many resources here NOTHING.

I have always been told that cats can become preg. again just right after giving birth to a litter, my cats both had litters of kittens in may and they are still not breed even though they are around several male cats so i am not for sure if what i have always been told true. so my opinion is it all depends on the cats.

You should spay your pet, the best time is about 1 week after the offspring are weaned. But I would keep her inside away from any males. They can become pregnant VERY soon after giving birth. Like 3 - 4 weeks I think.

Almost immediately after the kittens are weaned or when the kittens are around 8-10 weeks old.

They can get pregnant while nursing 4 week olds. How about SPAYING!!!!
You can rent Have-A-Heart traps and catch the mother. If you are caring for her, she is your. Trap her and get her spayed ASAP!!!!!!

cats cycle until they receive a male, how long ago did your cat have kittens? check with your vet to see when he can safely spay her and keep her indoors until she is spayed.
