I read that the incubation period is from 23-25 days. The first egg was laid on July 31. So, its been 26 days since the first egg was laid but it has not been hatched. What's wrong?

Okay, I got two baby hamsters and like they are Brother and sister, I just now found out they were a boy and a girl, I got them when they were babies, and like I don't want to get rid or separate them until I REALLY HAVE TOO. Is it okay if brother and sister have babies, or will the babies be messed up?...Please No rude Remark

P.S. I am planning on separating them AFTER they have one litter of babies...They might not even have babies...they are NEVER together.

THEY BEEN USING THE KITTY LITTER FOR MONTHS THEN THEY BECAME "OUTDOOR" CATS AND NOW ONLY GO IN THE BACKYARD. IT'S ALL DIRT GROUND SO THEY JUST DIG LIKE THEY NORMALLY DO IN A LITTER AND GO AND THEN PUT DIRT OVER IT. IS THIS A BAD HABIT AND SHOULD I KICK IT WHEN IT DOES THAT?

EXCEPT HE'S HOOKED ON A LASER POINTER. I BOUGHT ONE TO PLAY TRICKS ON HIM AND NOW HE IS OBSSESSED WITH CATCHING THE RED DOT. I'D PLAY WITH HIM FOR 10 MIN BEFORE BED THEN I'D WAKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND HE'D BE SITTING IN WAIT THE LAST TIME HE SAW THE RED DOT. I read that a clutch contains 4-6 eggs only. But my birds laid its 7th after 9 days of laying her 6th eggs. Does it means she's starting a new clutch?

I have 3 cats, and I purchased a LitterMaid in March. One of them stayed and watched it do it's thing and he figured it out and uses it religiously. The other two flat refuse to use it. I set up another litterbox with the same litter next to it and didn't clean it that often so they would see that the Littermaid is always clean, but they don't get it, and I think they're scared of it. What's ironic is one of the ones who refuses to use it hates having a dirty litterbox. Since it's been so long, I left the regular litterbox dirty and didn't clean it for (yuk) 4 weeks to really slam the point home, then removed it. They started crapping on my guest bed. Does anybody have any suggestions?

A friend has a weird painful bite on her body, and the doctor said it was a spider bite. But I was under the impression that there were no biting spiders in Canada. Perhaps that was just venemous, deadly spiders. Any info?

I try to take him out often and i heard that cage training is the best,but,I am having such a hard time. He poops during the night. I thought that dogs don't like to void where they sleep!When I do take him out he usually does pee and maybe poop,but how can I make him understand that he needs to hold it until its time to go out? He is only 10 weeks old, am I expecting too much? This is getting really hard. :(

Airedale had 16 pups, 14 lived 2 passed. Every one checked out alright at the vet this morning at 7am. She is doing a wonderful job feeding all and we have the formula to supplement if need be but so far she has everything under control. My sister lives in my basement and pays me $100 a month in rent. Should I limit the amount of dogs she has? She already has 2 and wants more. My husband is a truck driver and needs his sleep while he's home and her dogs bark sometimes and he's getting pretty Pi**ed Off about it. My sister takes good care of her dogs,but she works a lot so they are left alone sometimes from 8 am to 8 or 9pm. I hate to think of them down there all alone all day. Should I let her get more? My husband wants me to tell her that if they keep barking they have to go, should I? I feel like she pays rent so she should be able to do anything any person off of the street that rents would be able to. I'd hate to think her dogs had to go to the pound. Plus she's a drama queen so I'm afraid to tell her no. I'm trying to help her get some money saved by giving her a cheap place to live so she won't have it so rough starting out. Am i being a pushover when it comes to the pets?
