Uhhh, well if the blood was contaminated there is a risk of infection or transfer of any present biogen that is catching for dogs.

Otherwise blood itself doesn't contain anything that's specifically poisonous to dogs that I know of, unless it has been sitting for a while; it's mostly water anyways.

There is a likelyhood any dog that drinks a sufficienat amount of blood may vomit or pass what kind of looks like used coffee grounds; this is the blood being affected by the digestive system and getting all clotty...

human blood is hard to digest, and will usually cause darkend stools, vomiting, and eventually an ulcer. why did your pit consume human blood? red nose is just a color variation, a pit is a pit. sweet dogs, as long as they are taught some manners!!!

No effects that are different from animal blood, like liver from the grocery store.

how much blood? Just a little bit I don't think it will have any effect.
