No, it will stop. Just try to keep him/her away from the toads if you can. It's just a defense mechanism that the toads use to keep predators away....However if you see any changes in your dogs behavior call your vet or go to the emergency vet in your area. Cheers Bogey

Important that you get this adviceCould have been a toad-poison in the back tissues-frogs that are poisonous are usually colored with yellow, black, red and so on markings to indicate that. Do not induce vomiting. You can call a Emergency Vet Clinic-open when regular vets are closed-Look in the Yellow Pages under Veterinarian and will say Emergency Vet Clinic and give Hours open they can advise you BEST what you should do.Be sure to call and ask for if poison-I can't be sure but foam makes me sus[icious of it -if she/he ate some of frog-vomit could spread in system. Just call and find out from Vets=they are the experts

Get her to an outdoor hose & rinse her mouth really well with water now! Your dog can survive this... happened twice to my dogs growing-up. The frogs emit a poison when attacked or frightened. This causes an allergic reaction...foaming from the mouth, but more importantly "swelling" in the area sprayed (mouth). This can cause suffocation if the throat swells and closes-up. Rinsing with water helps to greatly reduce this.

It think it will be ok. My friends' dog ate a toad and did the same thing.
If you want to induce vomitting just to be on the safe side you can use peroxide. But you should probably check with a vet first.

where do you live? was it just a regular new england toad.? peroxide will induce vomitting. if she is shaking like having a reaction, i would induce vomitting and call a vet. if you live out of my area, (central maine) and live in a more temperate climate, than i would call vet anyway. or poison control
