EXCEPT HE'S HOOKED ON A LASER POINTER. I BOUGHT ONE TO PLAY TRICKS ON HIM AND NOW HE IS OBSSESSED WITH CATCHING THE RED DOT. I'D PLAY WITH HIM FOR 10 MIN BEFORE BED THEN I'D WAKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND HE'D BE SITTING IN WAIT THE LAST TIME HE SAW THE RED DOT. THEN I'D PLAY WITH HIM SOME MORE SO HE'D GET TIRED AND GO TO SLEEP.

I think you just wear them out with that. My cat used to love it too. She would chase it around the room and go bonkers. Like if we made it seem like it went under the couch she would sit over by the couch batting away under it for over a n hour until she got tired, layed down and passed out by the couch...

Our cat is 8 years old and she goes totally whack-o over the very same laser pointer! Cheap entertainment for us and excellent exercise for the puss.
Want some REAL fun? Give your cat some catnip before getting the laser out! LOLOL

yeah, my cat does that too, and the reason behind the catnip is because for some reasonit has no effect on them until they reach maturity

all 4 of my cats love that... i bought my son a play Lazer gun and they also go nuts over it . alot of the time they can play for hours or until they start running into each other and getting hurt.

my cat does the same thing. she is nine years old. one time our electricity went out and she was chasing around the flashlight everywhere when the electricity came back on she was still searching the whole house for the light
