Um yes the air rifle will work and then your cat will bleed, there is always the humane society waiting to take you to jail. Dont forget the cat does know how to get down, this isn't her first tree. When she is hungry enough she will come down prepared to eat. How do you know that she doesn't come down when you aren't home or you are in bed? Maybe she keeps climbing the tree because you keep throwing bricks at her.

Yeah, but than you might find out that you killed it,try callin the fire department,if you have a ladder get it,if you know someone who has one ask them, don't try the rifle it might end up shooting something or someone but if you wanna try it anyway just shoot on the side of the branch the cat is clinging on! Hope this helps!!!!

Oh, fer chrissake! Would YOU come down if someone is throwing bricks at you? Put food at the bottom of the tree, and see if she comes down. Coming down should be a pleasant thing, not a dangerous thing. Get a ladder and bring her down safely if you can reach her. Have you ever seen a dead cat in a tree? They will come down if there's a reason to, and they are physically capable.

yeah it might. Depending on the strength/power of the air rifle you might should go ahead and dig a hole for to bury the kitty. Have you tried a water hose? Or better yet just leave the cat alone. It will come down when it is good and ready to come down.

Poor cat. If you're serious about having hit her with bricks (I do hope you're joking) please check her carefully to see if she's injured. It is also possible that she is just plain stuck. Even agile cats get stuck on things sometimes. Try to climb up after her. She may be unable to come down. If that's the case, waiting would be cruel. If you are unwilling or unable to help your cat, please phone the local authorities -- animal control, SPCA, etc -- to come see to your cat.

Get a ladder and climb up there and get her. Or call the fire department. They really will come and save a cat if you ask.
