My mom is letting me move to the downstairs room in our house and said I can get a small dog.I really want a Chihuahua or a Yorkshire Terrier.
Which one would be the best?

im almost out of options, my cat wont keep softpaws on, and only uses the scratching post when he's near it even tho we have one in everyroom...i read about lazer declawing, which is safer and almost painless compared to the old way...think its too expensive?

My kitty makes squeaking sounds, instead of meowing, and instead only meows if he wants food. Another kitty of mine opens her mouth as if to say "meow" but makes no sound.

I don't at all. I think it is disgusting and completely wrong to go around with an animals fur coat around you. There are many farms where they kill animals ONLY for selfish people to have to keep them warm. I mean there is synthetic fur, can't they go to the legnths of sacrificing a softer jacket. It's just another one of '101 ways to extinct all living animals'. This is just my personal view, what do you think?

My husband has dogs....I want a cat. I love cats. But he claims it is because they shed.....that he will not ALLOW it....this is 2006, isn't it? ALLOW is not in my vocabulary, but I would really like to know if there is a specific breed that does not shed.

I just adopted a white Persian. I've always had dark haired cats so I don't know if the black streaks she has under her eyes is normal for white cats or not? Kinda like her eyes are running. She is scheduled to go to the vet next week but was just trying to find out if this was anything to worry about? Also, if there is any way of getting rid of it? She will NOT let me wipe anything under her eyes.

I want a dog (small one) but my boyfriend swears he can't have one in the flat because of his asthma(very mild asthma to boot). Some people say there are dogs that won't aggravate asthma. How can I convince him to let me have one?

Okay, when a question is asked, and they honestly want a good answer, and then all these self rightiuos people jump in with "HEY YOU CAN"T DO THAT!" "WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO DO THAT?" I ask, when can i put my kitty out after her surgery and what do i get? No there are hardly any saying "Oh, two weeks, ten days, whatever" No, they're all saying "DON"T PUT YOUR CAT OUT! IT"S DANGEROUS!!!" WTF?! That isn't what i asked! I know it's dangerous! Would you lock your child in a tower in order to keep them away from the evils of the world?!

Sorry about this, but does this annoy anyone else?!

My male chihuahua just marked the box where the newborn chihuahuas are kept. I just want to be at least 110% positive that if I neuter him and the male newborn... that they will absolutely NOT be territorial INSIDE my house. What are the chances of my 2yr old male not having this behavior anymore after he is neutered? I want this whole territorial thing to stop and if neutering and spaying them will stop this territorial behavior then I will do it. The only thing keeping me from having the male not neutered is he's an applehead, with a pink nose, he's wht in color, he's rare, and if anyone out there wants to pay to have him bred with their females. But what are the chances of that huh? So what should I do?

The fish that I have in my fish tank is dying. It can't swim anymore so it's just laying at the bottom of the tank still breathing but just laying there. It can't get any food because the food stays at the top of the tank. I get so sad when I go by the tank & look in there & see it & even when I think about it. The fish is probably sad that me & my family aren't doing anything for it but we can't we don't know what to do & their's no fish doctors. I'm also sad for the other fish in the tank because it's probably really sad because the fish is dying & because it will be the only 1 in there so it will be lonely. What Should I Do???
What if my dad takes the fish out of the tank & throws it outside when it's still breathing??? When a fish dies my dad just throws it outside without barrying it. :*( :*( :*(
