boxer. definitely a boxer. i was raised with boxers, and they're a really wonderful breed. they're very gentle, especially with kids. they're intelligent, and every boxer has its own personality. i love all dogs, but boxers are my favorite breed, and always have been. we have one now. hes is 4 years old, and fawn and white. his name is hank, and we all just him to death.

hmm my daughters boyfriend had a male boxer an we were given a female boxer.. we decided 2 breed them and holy smokes after 5 days the male claimed ownership of the female and attacked my daughter and i.. it was so unbelieveable and so unreal that the male would do that 2 us.. we knowen the male a year.. always sweet tempered.. and this male was raised from a pup by the bf.. tho the male had very little teeth, his fangs did some damage.. and thats my story.. at this time we have no dogs.. but if ever i do get another, it would be the shar peis.. love that breed .

Definitely Boxer. Thy are fun, happy and loving, very good with kids too. They can live in any type of housing: apartment or house.
I have been rescuing Boxers for about 10 years now and love the breed.
Think you can tell I am extremely partial;-))

it depends on if you want a little dog, or a bigger dog.
dachshunds, sometimes have back problems since they have long backs. the life span for boxers is shorter than most dogs, but the breeders are working on that and the life span is getting longer.

They are two very different dogs. If you've never owned a dog before I would suggest the Dachshund.
Here is a web page about the Dachshund.
http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/dachshund.htm
And here is one about the Boxer
http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/boxer.htm
It will help compare the two. Good luck!
