Believe it or not I have a black lab/ dachshound mix. She has a black lab body, dachshound legs, feet and nose. She is a great water retriever, even with those short legs and no web feet. I think a lab/golden mix would be neat. Might turn out long hair lab.

My nephew does. He is solid black and has some of the silky fur on legs and tail. He is a wonderful dog! His name is Shadow and weighs close to 100 lbs!
