Pregnancy in cats is called "queening". When your cat is pregnant there are several external clues you can see:

1) Her disposition may turn intensely serene and loving
2) Her nipples will harden and pink up
3) Her belly will swell

When you see these things, you know she's "queening"

If your cat was in heat and went outside, she probably mated and is probably pregnant. They ovulate when they mate, so there is no "safe" time for them to mate. Ask your vet to examine her for pregnancy. The best time to check is 3-4 weeks after she went out of heat.

If your cat went into heat and suddenly snapped out of it, she may be pregnant. Your best best is to take her to the vet for a professional opinion.
